Mmmmhmmm, yup, I have a contest for all you lucky members out there. It is an art contest, but there will certainly be some specifics. Please read all rules before entering. They will certainly help you out, as well as me.
1. Theme must have Haruhi in it. It does not matter if Haruhi is alone, or with a host member, with a customer, other re-appearing characters, and et cetera.
2. It MUST be 500x500 or smaller.... I really do not enjoy large pictures....
3. I would prefer you hand draw it, but if you can do a good job with paint and other computer drawing means, go on ahead.
4. Please no taking of others' talents and somehow 'differentiating' it... I can tell if it is something off the net or not... I want to know what YOU can do, not what some fan-person on the other side of the world can do.
5. Have fun with it. Borderline the picture, add some words... I like fancy-schmancy titles, but remember to work on the picture before you add any detail to it.
5. Color makes the world go round! I do not enjoy flat artwork. Shadings, colored pencils, watercolor. If you can do a good job with crayons, I will certainly be happy. That does not mean it cannot be in black and white. Just do not make it look like a two-year-old's style of coloring, or more accurately, NO detail of any sort....
6. To see if you have read these rather specific guidelines, and you understand that I can be peevish, please post 'If only..." with your entry. There is a significant reason behind this to see if there are rule-followers, and the chosen phrase is rather personal.
7. No more than three entries, although I would prefer your best one.
8. There will be First, Second, and Third prize. The prizes will be given out accordingly.
9. And do not feel bad if yours does not place. There will be a small gift to all that enter.
