Arcanine
I like dogs and fire element pokemon are pretty rare, plus he has extremespeed which is a really useful attack. I feel pretty guilty when I use it though, as its stats are ******** monstrous and it's basically like using a legendary.
Gyarados
I always make sure to raise a magikarp up to be a badass Gyarados. It has a double weakness to electricity and is way weaker these days than in the classic gameboy days, but it just looks so cool.
Luxray
It's an electric lion, that's pretty cool, I must say. It looks cool and is good in a fight.
Jolteon
Before Luxray, this was my favorite electric type. It is fast as hell and hits hard, even though it dies pretty fast. It's special attack stat is huge.
Aggron
What a bad a**. He's huge and takes forever to kill, plus he learns hyper beam or something I think.
Rhyperior
WTF George Washington Rhino? ******** Scyzor, even though it's better in every way, Scyther looks cooler.
Paras
It is soooo cute. Plus it evolves into Parasect which is cute too.
Beedrill
Ow he stung me. Aw ******** yeah I have a garden on my back.

Absol
I had one in Ruby that I named Dante and he showed me my love for the dark-type. His design is.. awesome to be since I love asymmetry, black and white and whatnots, and the whole "emo disaster Pokemon" thing is sorta neat to me.

I don't know a lot of his history but I'll be damned if he does not look badass!
Sableye
I caught one in Ruby.. I didn't even know they existed until I ran into one in a cave. So ******** badass, such a great Pokemon. No natural weakness, they look mischievous as ******** and are adorable.
Haunter
One of my favorites from the originals; his design is so badass and I loved playing with the one in Pokemon Stadium. I felt like his rendering was one of the best they had in the game.
Totodile
Most ********' adorable thing ever. Oh god I loved him. <3
Mudkip
... heart Also adorable. So fun to say. I have a Mudkip figure sitting on top of my Xbox 360, too.
Blaziken
A lot of the official art makes it look retarded but it's easily one of the most badass Pokemons out there. Also he's probably inspired by cockfighting. ******** ********' adorable

I probably just love it because it was so awesome in Gold/Silver, it was pretty much the strongest Psychic pokemon (apart from Mewtwo but eh don't like legendaries). And Psychic rules.

It's just so beautiful. @.@ I don't think I've ever owned one though so I have no idea what it's like in battle. xD

I love the design and it's pretty versatile in battle.

Goddamn dragon types are so overpowered. xD But this one's cute!

I like the design, like Addy said. I also had one in Ruby.

It's mostly down to my love for Physic pokemanz. Also probably influenced by its role in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon because it was awesome.

My first starter on Silver...and it remains my favorite from 2nd generation. His final evolution is such a badass and it can learn Thunderpunch. :D

The one that Morty had in the anime made me love them so much. Plus, I started using one in battle and it's pretty decent.

I've always liked it, but the one I've been raising on Platinum helped me pretty much kill the Elite 4, even though they were about ten levels higher than it.

I've had one in every game I've played since Silver. I love them, even though they have a double weakness to ice. They're not quite as useful in the newer games though. :[

When some guys in my grade were deciding what Pokemon everyone in IB should be, I got Jigglypuff because I like making faces at people. But even before this, I've liked it. SO CUTE.

One of the few 3rd gen Pokemon that I actually like..,not only is it ADORABLE but it also has one of the most interesting abilities.

Mewtwo-Such a badass
Ghastly/evolutions-I love me some ghosts
Drowzee/Hypno-No real idea why; the whole eating dreams was pretty badass
Bulbasaur-So. Cute.
Dratini-Adorable. So adorable.
Mareep/evolutions-It's a sheep! An electric sheep! Best thing ever.
Eevee/all evolutions-Eevee was just plain adorable, but all of the evolutions were just so badass.
Houndoom/Houndour-I have no idea why. I just really like the way they looked.
Farfetch'd-I never used it, but I loved the word play of its name.
Natu/Xatu-Just badass. I love the way they looked.
Phanpy-It was an elephant! And adorable elephant at that.
