So can I have my WW villager visit my CF town, and/or vice versa?

I don't think so.
You can copy your WW data onto CF so you have the same character and a catalogue of stuff. But you can't get them to visit per se.
The only other DS-Wii link I can find is that you can put your Wii character onto your DS as a means of storage. Then you can take your Wii character to another Wii via your DS.

Yeah, I knew about this, so it seemed kinda intuitive that they would be able to visit too. WELL ******** EVERYTHING. ]:
