My most recent work is here. 3nodding
It's a self portrait. I used Photoshop and Fireworks to create the image. It is not a modified photograph, it is an original digital painting. I'm in Unversity currently pursuing an associates degree in Graphic Design.
I hope you guys like it. Critique?

I don't like how it looks like you saved it in 16bit color, or the harsh lines of the cheeks/smile. The rest is very good, though.

In the future I do not recommend using filters. They come across as extremely amateur and tacky. RARELY do they help out an image, like you have to be light about their use. Typically you can get an effect out of an image with a little more elbow grease.

Oh and the color effect was done on purpose actually. It was meant to mimic the style of layered paper. I proably should ahve explaned that. sweatdrop
But I will definitly take your advice into account.
It means so much to me to be able to have people to work my work off of.
