The last airbender. Coming summer 2010 in theaters. I'm so excited^^ I saw the latest trailer, its ok .. but the characters are kinda weird looking unlike in cartoons. Post anything here about this movie biggrin

I have never seen the anime and never care to. But the movie actually looks good to bad I hate the director. maybe this will be his first good movie.

I don't think I want to watch that one.
I guess I'll have to see some reviews from some trusty sources before watching.
After The Happening, I could never see M. Night Shyamalan as one of my favorite directors.

All movies need at least a few twists and turns to keep the audience interested. M. Night Shymalan(spelling fail most likely) made a name for himself by creating particularly surprising twists at the end. However, I think he became to highly invested in creating those twists and soon they took over the movie in an unpleasant way.

I think over all he's a decent director and if he has a good story (and maybe a few consultants) behind him, he will be able to put together a good Avatar movie. Hopefully, fear of the many Avatar fans will keep him from taking twisting liberties that he shouldn't with the much beloved characters.

Hello, I'm New.

Although I like him too, I haven't heard anything about it.
I'm Pretty sure this is going to be a fighting movie, action packed for a pg13 rating...

I also think that they will have to pack the entire 1st book into one movie and will most likely cut the "slower parts" from the animie that we all know and love.

I don't think the movie will be as wonderful as the show. They are going to a botch job just the make more money off of it.

Ang and Kitara will be like the new Twilight couple. Ugh... Just wait.
