The kitchen in my apartment has these little black beetles... I have to keep everything well-sealed as not all the beetles I find are dead.

how large are they? I'd need to know what type they are - if you have plants in your apartment you may want to check to see if they are the beetles home..
They are more than likely living off of any flour or pasta you have open. My X gf had the same problem. Just throw away anything thats open, clear all the shelves and sterilize everything. Look for any little gaps between fittings and the walls and spray them with bleach or something. Then plug em up with some sealant.
If that dont get rid of em by some gecco's and set em loose *JOZIN*

in addition to stumblefoot's advice, keep flour based stuff in tightly sealed containers and not in the bags you buy them in. pasta, corn meal, biscuit mixes, etc.

Then you could get mongooses to get rid of the gecko's and then wolves to get rid of the mongooses and bears to get rid of the wolves and then elephants to get rid of the bears and then get mice to get rid of the elephants. then start back up the food chain and soon you'll have yourself a circus. XDDDDD
we put items that just have cardboard for packaging into bags. biggrin
I still want to go to your mad circus of animals X.x
