Hello~ Well, right now I'm reading Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. I've loved the movie based off it for a couple of years now.
So, what do you think is better? The movie or the book?
Personally, I can't decide. The book opens up a whole new doorway that movie didn't even mention, like the MarthaxMicheal (which is SO cute. x3) thing. Martha and Micheal aren't even in the movie! For those of you who haven't read the book, Martha is Sophie's other younger sister, and Micheal is Howl's assisstant. I know, Howl has that adorable little boy in the movie, whom I adore, but Micheal is 15, so they're not the same people.
Not to mention I'm over 136 pages in, and Howl only recently had the green-slime tantrum. There has been no SophiexHowl yet, which I had been looking forward too..okay, I take that back. There was a LITTLE SophiexHowl recently, but you have to look at it closely.
I think I'm leaning towards the movie. But that might be biased cause of Calcifer. Don't worry, Calcifer is in the book, and he's just as smart-a** as ever, but I just ADORE his English voice, and you know how books are..you can't hear the voices except in your head. :< And I think my voices decided to take a smoke-break and died of lung cancer cause the only voice I can hear in my head now is my own? D8
Well, anyway, give your opinions!
