Gakuen Neko RP

It was the start of a new term at Gakuen Neko and everyone was in a rush. Cat girls were fighting over a space at the mirror in the huge bathroom while Cat guys were waking up late and rushing to put on their uniform. In the midst of all this no one noticed a small group of people led by the principalentering through the main gate.


Naoko sat in the main hall it was 30 minutes till the opening ceremony started but she had gotten up early to avoid the morning rush in the girls bathroom. The grand ballroom where the opening ceremony was held had sparkling marble floors and ornate pillars. Inside the room was thousands of wooden chairs polished so they shined so brightly it could almost blind you. Naoko sighed and let her eyelids close as she waited for everyone else to arrive.

Yoshi entered the main hall after he had eaten a little snack, wiped away some crumbles that was around the edges of his mouth with his right hand. Yoshi walked over to a wall to lean against with his arms crossed then he closed his eyes to catch up on some sleep from waking up earlier to get ready for the opening ceremony.

Chikao slunk into the main hall, glancing around at the bright lights distastefully. Everything was so bright; it hurt his eyes to see such a scene at this time of the morning. He just hoped that the ceremony would be over soon so that he could go.
What could he say? He hated to socialise. He glanced around and sighed.
'So many cat people ... this will be interesting,' he thought.

Kou snuck away from the principal while his back was turned, Kou ended up at the main hall and noticed two cat people with their eyes closed. "I guess the opening ceremony doesn't start yet" thought Kou after taking a glimpse at the grand ballroom.

Kare walked into the ballroom with her nose in a book as usual. but not paying attention, she ran into a pillar. Kare looked up in surprise "apperentally i'm here... i should pay more attention." She looked around and noticed people already there. She walked to the corner pillar and sat next to it not wanting to be noticed at first so she could watch the other people as the came in. It was her first year and she was really nervous.

She looked around one more time. two had fallen asleep 'hmmm.... they must have gotten up early' and then she looked at the two wolfs in wonder 'i've never seen a wolf so close before' she thought as she kept staring.

One of the wolves had a strange scar on his left eye, and had a suspicious black case resting on the floor beside his leg. He ran a hand through his silver hair lazily, looking incredibly frustrated.

Kami had left her room ready to go, and thought about messing with some of the girls in the bathroom. Then she thought better of it; since it was the first day of school, she might as well leave a good impression. She paced quietly in the main hall, watching as more people arrived.
What's a group of wolf people doing here in our school? Kami thought, her skin prickling.

'This is taking way too long,' Chikao thought, closing his eyes. 'What a waste of time.' He spent a good five minutes considering whether the ceremony was worth his time, but decided that he would stay. He was already on his father's bad side; he didn't need to start a fight with the school staff either.

Naoko awoke with a jump as she heard a big group of people entering the room. She saw tons of cat people all staring at the small group of wolf people in the room. 'hmm I guess what the principal told me is true....they are letting wolf people in...' she thought remembering the conversation she had recently had with the principal where he told her about letting them in so we could "mix with different types of people". 'well they seem nice enough...as class president I guess I should go welcome them....' Naoko got up slowly and made her way over to one of the wolves "Welcome to the academy, I am the year 10 class president, it's nice to meet you" she smiled at the wolf then moved onto the next one, she greeted all the wolves getting weird looks from all the other cat students.

Kami looked on as the class president spoke with the wolf people. She thought about just ignoring them, but realized to achieve a better reputation she should probably talk to them. Although it would give her strange looks from the other cat people, she figured it was still a good idea. As she walked towards them, one in particular caught her eye.
"Hi, my name's Kami, what's yours?" She asked politely.

Yoshi woke up, "Meow...talk about a nice nap" thought Yoshi rubbing his left eye with his left hand then yawning a little. Yoshi looked around noticing a group of wolf people and tons of cat people staring at them, "It seems that the new people have arrived just in time for opening ceremony. Maybe I should greet them also just like the class president and that other girl" thought Yoshi after he stood up straight then he walked over and greeted some of the wolf people politely with a friendly smile on his face.

Chikao looked up, and stiffened when he saw cat people moving around the room and greeting wolf people. He sweatdropped, and glanced away.
'Nn ... why is everyone here so sociable? I didn't want a welcome party!' He rose, grabbed his violin case and made for the door. Maybe he could get away and return later for the ceremony itself.

Kami continued greeting a few nice wolf people, though she passed a few that growled, which got on her nerves a bit.
Why come to a school full of cats if you're not even going to try to be polite... Kami sighed. She sat down on a nearby bench and watched as a few more new students flitted in, mostly cat people.

'where's he going?' Naoko wondered as she saw a wolf heading for the door, she raced after him "Hey, you can't leave yet!" she called as she finally reached him, she stood in front of the doors blocking his exit.

Chikao almost face-palmed himself.
"Please. Just get out of the way," he said quietly.
