Hallowe'en Costumes and Makeup.

I wasn't sure where to put this, because it seems kinda random, so I put it in the main forum.
Feel free to move it as necessary.

Yes, I know All Hallow's Eve isn't for another several months.
But since Valentines' is my least favourite holiday, I'm taking the time I usually waste being depressed, into prep time for my favourite holiday.

I want to know:
Do you spend the majority of the year prepping for any holiday?
Do you plan out your Hallowe'en costumes?
What are you most likely going to be/look like on this coming Hallowe'en?
Any thoughts on improving my idea for a Hallowe'en costume(pictures in the next post)?

This year, I'm going for a Tim Burton/Dead Doll look.
I'm taking Sally from 'The Nightmare Before Christmas', and mixing her with The Corpse Bride(I forget her actual name...)

Without further adiu, Here is my makeup:

Neck and collarbone
Right side
Other view
Full face
Looking nearly dead
Eyes shut 1
Left side, eyes shut
Eyes shut 2

I tooka lot of pictures, mainly because I think I did pretty well for my first time.
I also did my left wrist in several styles, but I'll post them tomorrow.

This Halloween I'm dressing up as The Queen of Hearts. The only reason why I have my costume planned ahead of time is because that's what I was supposed to be for this past Halloween. My friend made me the dress and everything. I was too depressed to do anything, though, so I didn't go trick-or-treating and didn't get to wear the costume.

I come up with random ideas throughout the year, but I never stick to it. I usually just bring random makeup and clothing over to my friend's house, and we figure stuff out there. Last year one of my friends and I were submissive Siamese twins, and our other friend was a Dom. Nobody really understood, though. They thought we were just Siamese twins, and our friend was a cop.

My man will go as a hunter

Wow, I really hope your Queen of Hearts goes well. Which version will you be doing?

Mord - Ohhh, those seem pretty simple, but I bet you guys will definately go around scaring kids! No offence. I meant it as a good thing.

RR - Yeah, I usually just hold Hallowe'en parties for my friends, and I do their costumes. ^-^

I can't wait to do my cosplay as a witch on halloween. I'll sit in the middle of the street, cry my eyes out and if anyone walks close enough to me I'm going to get up while screaming bloody murder and then run at them.

Second year was Vampires
Third it was a Masquerade,
This year it's going to be Tim Burton or Pirates.

This year I'm going as a stained-glass window. I have to start on my costume now because it's going to take forever to make! But, I have yet to go to the hardware store to get everything I need.
