Must organize chaos. **Note** For the time being, this is just a spot to release all of the pent up plot bunnies threatening my ability to be constructive elsewhere. Feel free to post if you just have to comment about something, or if you'd like to jump in on an idea that looks particularly interesting, but for the most part I've found it is easier to just seek out prospective RP partners myself. (Thus, I'll haunt YOUR plot thread. HarHar!) General Plots Go Here The Skinwalker ArcTheme Song: The Howling, by Within Temptation Starting time, Seres is 6, Tiarnan is 4 Quote: -Tiarnan flees Elderwillow Camp ( Where Dreams Have A Limit SOL RP ) -Seresai chases after -Wildfire and Killian head upstream from the main camp to study what has been happening. They take Wile's human partner Red Wolf (son of Celei and Pathen) with them following. -Toujours returns from the City of Thieves with Seethe trailing him hatefully. TJ does not tell anyone about the lurking shadow, fearing the results, and mostly hoping the beast will go away. Also reunites with Ashura. ( Counting Midnights RP w/Epee) - Seresai comes across Nocturne while looking for Tia. ( The Seeker RP w/Uta ) - Seresai runs into Seethe and Lessia during her search. ( Play the Pawn RP w/Caj-Boss) - Following the first encounter with Seethe, Seres is tracked by him while she is still wounded, but she is helped by a local pack of wolves... and gains another friend in the process. ( I Am Not Giving In SOL RP ) - (Misc Seres hunting her bro and meeting other soqs RPs) 2 months Pass Quote: -Wildfire and Killian are caught in a rockfall, Nissy's boy Malcolm enters the scene to help them out. Killian is mostly uninjured, but Wile is seriously hurt. -Killian leaves Wile in Malcolm's care while he goes back to the Elderwillow camp to get help. The trip to and from will take him two days. Returns with Amarinne and Toujours. - After deciding Seres is too much work to pursue and kill in order to exact punishment on Toujours, Seethe moves formally into the Elderwillow territory. He leaves his slash marks on some trees to alert Blais and any other predatory creatures in the area that he has moved in. His plan is to create some paranoia, and test the waters to see how far he can push. He doesn't want them to move, because he has selected them as his next targets. That, and he really wants to see TJ suffer. - Blais confronts TJ when he returns, recognizing the striped pelt of Seethe via reports given to him by Seres while she and Wildfire had still been traveling with TJ towards the City of Thieves. TJ caves and tells everything that happened and why he thinks the skinwalker followed him. - Fights erupt among the herdmembers, Seresai is still gone, Tiarnan is missing, and Blais is up to his eyeballs trying to keep everyone calm. During this time, Seethe comes across another skinwalker, the cursed son of BA Princess Hallany, Amaroq. The two form a sort of non-aggression pact, and Seethe starts to select his first target. - Everyone within the camp assumes either the usdia or the blind elder Flame will be the first to be targeted, so measures are taken to secure them. Messages are sent uphill to alert the northern part of the herd, and another messenger is sent out to retrieve Seresai. (This is Zoet, who does manage to find Seres eventually and get her to come home) Wildfire tries to convince everyone to move to a new location, citing both the instability of the land and the skinwalker threat. She is met with stubborn refusal (especially from Crousader) but is backed largely by Tai and Killian. -The tension reaches the breaking point when two of the messengers are killed and left outside the camp entrance, and then one of their own turns up missing. - Despite the heightened alert, Tai goes off on his own to think after an interesting discussion with Toujours. He doesn't quite believe the dark unicorn when he says that there are multiple chances for happiness in one lifetime, but he at least willing to think on it. However, after observing TJ and Tai's interaction, Seethe decides that the lone brown and gold stallion is probably the best available option. -When Tai turns up missing, more messengers are sent out to the surrounding areas requesting help. Gully runs into an old friend and enlists their aid. (( Ti'ran and Ren'dari /w Hiru )) -Also, one of the messengers runs into one of Seresai's old pupils, the young knight Royce Garnet, and his aid is requested. - Meanwhile, the rest of the camp forms up search groups and try to find their missing family member. In the chaos, one of the groups is attacked by Amaroq, thus ensuring that the group Toujours is with is the one to locate Tai. -Tragically, everything goes according to Seethe's plan when Tai's corpse is found by TJ, Blais, Gully, and Sandsablaze. Left mangled in a cave, Blais is the only one who can approach the body to try and figure out who killed him. TJ, however, already knows. -Leigh will be in the group that finds Tai. He'll be rather ashamed of how the girls step up and get involved and lead when he has always just laid about and not worried over that sort of thing. He'll ruminate on his role in the herd and will throw his back into the ((future)) move, working hard for the herd. Perhaps something will come of his newfound determination. (( w/Talkitty)) - Eloran remains with Flame, Princess, Wildfire, Dream, and the humans in the main camp to help defend. -The news hits the entire camp hard, even after Amaroq is successfully driven off by Crousader, Galahad, Jose, Bonfire and the pride of mountain lions who helped them. Not that Amaroq goes far, like Seethe, he has his own fish to fry in the person of his mother. -(Insert Killian returns with reinforcements here. For sure: Nocturne w/Uta, Antony and Lessia (maybe Corsant) w/Caj.) - Within Elderwillow, the infighting ceases, and a smoldering anger replaces the earlier fidgety tension. Flame, in particular, takes the news poorly and is largely left to the care of his mate and daughters while he mourns. Blais resists making any concrete decisions until Seres returns, despite a renewed effort by Wildfire and Killian to get the herd to move. *rest pending acquiring Shishio Gen in custom slots* _________________________________________ General Plot #1 Seethe, the opportunistic b*****d. I'll be looking out for folks who need a bad guy. Why? Cause Seethe is a very bad guy. To make matters worse, he's gone and found a small band of other skinwalkers who share in some of his ideals. Now while he doesn't exactly 'hang out' with these other skinwalkers... a gang is a gang... and we all know that blood in the water draws sharks. Note #1 - He will NOT challenge your tough stallion. Just goes against the grain y'know? He'd rather stalk your old, your weak, your young, or your females and manipulate them into a frothy terror before eating them. Nate #2 - Due to note #1, these makes him one of the easiest skinwalkers to RP against and actually stay within the SW guildlines. Why? Well, he'll approach, but will cut and run if his target happens to have a protector he deems the type to inflict damage on him. This means, if you want a demon to instill terror, but you don't want immediate death and would really like for some hope of rescue, Seethe is your man. Err. Stallion. Note #3- He's not a pansy, and WILL kill your tough stallion if cornered, but he'd just rather avoid having to retreat with all sorts of injuries. Injuries inhibit his ability to find future prey, plus disease could set in... etc. He's not a moron, won't rise to the bait of wannabe tough guy's loud mouth, and will just walk away and eat some other unguarded foal/mare/oldtimer. Note #4- He HATES unicorns. More then he is racially inclined to hate Angeni. More then he fears being dragged back to hell. More then ANYTHING! He hates unicorns. Angeni may be the poison of his blood, but unicorns are the poison of his mind. (Why? One actually managed to wound him once as a youngster. And the horn burneddddd, and he hatedddd ittttt and in the nature of most youngsters, the experience has exploded in his head over the years into a sweeping generalization of Avoid Avoid Avoid.)

"The Elderwillow Heir" Temper: Aristocratic Age: About 6 years old Current Ideas: 1-Hunting for Tiarnan 2-Fight with Seethe 3-Kicking her Pa's a** for dissing Tiarnan 4-Getting the rest of the Herd to help kick Crous's a** 5-Blais's retirement, her promotion 6-Moving camp on Wildfire's recommendation. Much resistance. 7-Dealing with Sylph, and her BURNING DESIRE to lay the smack down on the whole anti-woman thing in KoTC. 8-Emerging diplomacy, its not as hard or as dissatisfying as she thought it would be. 9-More tutoring from Yei??? Backstory To-Do: 1-Write up Fillyhood 2-Fight with Amarinne over being girly 3-Fight with TJ about needing a teacher 4-Fight with Wildfire for the sake of fighting 5-Figure out fighting isn't as cool as she thought it was, runs about apologizing. 6-Attempt to be philosophical. Fail. 7-Attempt to be book smart. Fail. 8-Attempt to be a smart a**. Also fail. 9-Finally figure out that her strongest feature is her honesty and desire to keep those important to her safe? Success. 10-Second fight with Amarinne about completing her training and taking final test. Run to Crous. Rejected. 11-Whole camp upset with Crous, Rinne, and Seres over being stupid. Blais steps in an administers Seresai's test himself. Corus never gives in. 12-Pass test with flying colors, but never wins Crousader's approval. 13-Runs up mountain to chill with Yei and learn a bit about being a Cool Kid from her. (AKA, to avoid thinking about her failure to win Crous's approval, she tries to replace him with Yei's approval (as someone else she respects highly) but figures out that doesn't really work.. but she learns a bit about how to be a Strong Woman anyway.) 14-On the way back, runs into Royce Garnet. 15-Deals with second set of siblings. 16-Is depressed when the turn out to be sons. Wanders off on her own for a week and his brought back by her stumbling baby brother Tiarnan. 17-Tia's nature as an escapist begins to dawn on her, and she tries to teach him to be the kinda son she knows Crous wants. He resists. Sibling fight. 18-Tia doesn't leave, she does apologize, but the rift remains. 19-Fed up with the rift, she actually talks to Tia again about what happened, but comes across to strongly in her attempt to help him and he finally cuts and runs. 20-Finds out from Blais about how much Crous has been pressuring Tia and explodes, runs off to find her bro. Elder-ness? ** Should slots become more readily available, Elderhood is a stage I would definitely seek with Seresai. To that end, the following formula. ** 1- Quite your average filly. Headstrong. Vivacious. Smart but not studious, lives for the approval of others. Not quite sure about what is important yet, but her actions are usually to the benefit of those around her. 2- Beginnings of friendship, puzzling the differences between nature, spirit, mind, self, and her place in the big world. Wile, of course, reminds her that her end purpose is worm food. Seres is not amused. 3- Several attempts to be things she is not. 4- First run in with not being up to par. Typical teenaged angst, doesn't value what really matters to her.. or even knows what those things are. 5- Lapses into a "I'mma fight you ALL phase" in retribution against.. someone. 6- Discovers that was not a good idea, but for the first time get's the feeling that he dad isn't as godlike as she thought he was, and maybe she is a little justified in thinking that he doesn't think she's good enough. 7- Tries to headbutt her way into Dad's heart. Fails. 8- Tries to sweet-talk, also fails. 9- Gives up after causing many a fight. Finally figures out what was the most important thing to her too late to do anything about it. 10- Ignoring that revelation in favor of maintaining the status quo, she focuses on other parts of her life. Learns a lot about the physical part of life, and becomes rather good at distancing herself from situations in order to view them without bias. 11- Serves as Blais's assistant for awhile and discovers her very strong desire to protect, just as Blais protects. But protection is not just defending against physical enemies, it is from the mind, spiritual instability, the elements, and various other things. With that in mind, she seeks out other mentors to learn how they dealt with such problems. 12- Reaches the conclusion that experience is the ultimate factor between success and failure, not just the desire to BE successful. 13- Unknowingly, her attitude has changed, and she can no longer just accept her father as he is. She recognizes that he will eventually be a threat to himself and to others, but lacks the resolve to approach him outright. Tiarnan's situation provides the catalyst, even if it backfired in her face when Tiarnan doesn't follow through with her 'predictions.' Discovers that not everything goes according to plan. 14- Following several life experiences (the stuff with her dad, moving the camp, dealing with a major threat like Seethe) she's wised up a lot to the ways of the world. Recognizes that being adaptable is far more valuable than just being experienced, and realizes that in an effort NOT to be like her dad, she almost became just like him. 15- Has several years of running the Elderwillow camp under her belt, along with dealing with other misc problems wherein se can be all wise and goofy. (subject to change) 16- Never been all that interested in love (as in mates) but comes to adopt and love one particular foal. (subject to change, depending if I get this foal customized or another player is involved.) **Rest of history prior to starting to consider eldership is up in the air. All is subject to change. **

Wildfire "The Engineer" Temper: Provocative Age: About 5 1/2 years old Current Ideas: 1-Doing some lonely studies upstream from the Elderwillow camp. Somesuch just ain't right with the mountains yo~ 2-Staying behind while Seres runs off to find Tiarnan. It is the first time she hasn't been able to help her 'sister' when something serious is going on, and she is understandably anxious. 3-Working with Killian and some of the other northern soquili to ascertain the extent of the changes on he slopes and how they are affecting her home. 4-Returning to the white two-legger settlement for some intellectual reconnaissance. They totally don't know how smart she is~ 5-Perhaps finding somebody equally nature-nerdy to share notes with? Nothing fancy, more like the human equivalent to meeting someone with similar interests out in the field. 6-Getting into a serious accident. Rockfall perhaps? Or a flash flood? Something that drives the point home to her and whoever is with her (likely Killian) that their home-site is no longer safe. 7-Acquire a set of native friends, several of whom will move in with the rest of the Elderwillow natives and create a small kawani settlement north of the main Kawani Village. 8-Forms a special bond with one particular human who looks after her when she is in the camp, and occasionally travels with her. Is a bit of an 'engineer' himself, so they communicate through body language and through concepts that they both understand. He'll help handle the 'human side" of moving the camp and introducing various other concepts that will help improve quality of life. (He'll also travel with her once or twice down to the white-man settlement, find a girl, fall in love with said girl, learn english from said girl, bring her back to the camp after a long romantic Pocahontas reversed kinda deal, and eventually learn a bit more from the settlers when it comes to building.) Backstory To-Do: 1-Write up Fillyhood 2-Fight with Seresai for some bizarre reason. Seres started it! 3-Reconciles easily with Seres, since she was never actually mad... 4-Laughs while Seres tries to be philosophical. 5-REALLY laughs when Seres tries to be booksmart. (The two wander back down to the two legger settlement where Wile filches her books from, Seres get's in trouble because of her wings ((they wants'em)) but the air escape easily.) 6-Convinces Toujours to take her seriously as a student after she's learned that the 'flirting game' can get really dangerous. Wants to be somebody, not just somebody's mate. 7-Is Seresai's shoulder to cry on when Crousader is an a** about her final test. 8-Talks to her brother and Blais steps in an administers Seresai's test himself. Crous never gives in, though Wile tries to talk to him herself and fails. 9-Remains the only constant friend for both Seresai and Killian during Bonfire's wandering and later the drama with Crousader and Tiarnan. 10-Really starts to try and find her own niche in life, finally accepts that she won't ever be as outspoken and vivacious as Seresai, and tries to like herself a bit more. 11-Pairs up with her nephew in law (I guess that is what he is?) Killian and goes out on local explorations, discovering many new cave systems. Begins to get the feeling that the camp is not as ideally placed as it could be. 12-Drafts up some plans with Killian and the youngest of the Kawani natives that live with the Eldewillow Soquili, a young hunter named Red Wolf. (Son of Celei and Pathen) Elder-ness? ** Should slots become more readily available, Elderhood is a stage I might seek with Wildfire, she and Seresai have always been two peas in a pod, and I can't see one becoming an Elder without the other close behind. To that end, the following formula. ** 1- Not your average girl, Wile is devilishly smart as a youngster, and likes to manipulate those around her to do her bidding. Her parents are not affected, but the other foals of the clearings quickly distanc themselves from her. 2- Beginnings of friendship with Seres, starts to come out of her elitist knowledge shell in the face of Seresai's rampant "hey, who really cares? not me! 8DD! 3- With the coming out phase complete, Wile evolves into a kind of benevolent seductress. She loves teasing young stallions, but would never consider them as potential suitors. Basically, she becomes temporarily addicted to the flirting game. 4- Get's over that addiction when one young stud tries to force her. Seres tells her straight that she just can't live like that! She's too smart to just be a ho. 5- Tons of family drama, tons of Seres drama, tons of ecological drama... and through it all, she keeps her cool. **Rest of history prior to starting to consider eldership is up in the air. All is subject to change. **
