If you're going to post in the main forum, it would be a good idea to attach a picture for us to critique, since that's the function of the main forum. Anyway, the best way to learn how to draw realistic is to draw real figures. Posemaniacs is helpful, but since they're 3D computer models with no skin, they can only go so far. Skin folds are an important thing to remember. If I were you, I would ask my friends to pose for me, or even your family, and start doing quick sketches to warm up, then slow down once you get the hang of things. Though, if you must use pictures, try this: http://characterdesigns.com/index.php?sitepage=photosets It's a bunch of stock photos of models doing poses (warning: they're nude). Try to avoid making posts in the main forum if you have nothing for us to critique in the future.

I'm in the same boat as you. What I've been doing is lots of case studies. On everything, bones to muscles to full people to clothes.... pretty much everything. The only problem is they take forever.

-the first thing that you would need to learn is how to shade, the dark shades and light tones play a crucial part in realism. -the second thing that you would need to do is learn proportions -the third thing you should learn is the shapes and curvatures of the human body. i suggest looking at anatomy books, or observing others (but try not to look like a creeper...)
you cannot just rely on pictures, the best way to improve is to observe real life figures, learn how they move, and how the muscles react with the movements
i'm not sure if this helps but good luck
