Anyone here play a musical instrument?

I play or I should say try to play guitar bass.
I still suck at playing but when I do pick it up to practice I always love it. >.>
So talk about what instruments you all play and any tips for others to get better? lol

If you're a bass guitar enthusiest, then might I recommend checking out Victor Wooten. I love music and try to expand my appreciation for all of it's flavors. I'm definitely a big singer, and I also am proficient with guitar, piano, bass guitar, and drums.... However, my ADD usually has me changing hobbies more times than David Bowie changes clothes on a daily basis...

I play flute. I used to play flute well, considered playing professionally.
I play guitar, ukulele, tenor sax and keyboard poorly.

I play the flute, recorder, piano, and piccolo. Although the only instrument I was sort of forced to learn was the piano since everyone in my family knew how to do it. However, I grew to love the piano so I wouldn't say I hate my parents for making me learn it at the time.

Cello, baroque cello, and ocarina when I have no one around to hear me. Tips for getting better pretty much include practice, practice, and more practice; the more time you put into it, the more you'll get out of it.

Started off on the recorder in elementary school. Later, after figuring out that playing the violin wasn't my thing, I took piano lessons for several years. Also tried the guitar for a bit in my teens, but that didn't last very long. Even tried playing the Ocarina when my son got one for a gift a few years ago. I still pick at those 88 black and white keys every once in a blue moon.

I know how to play the clarinet granted its been almost 6 years since I last laid eyes on one. (Was in the school band for 4 years but got tired of the teacher always yelling so I took up learning Japanese. Not the greatest but still learning.)
