Hullo, after a long time away from Gaia, I've returned with a WIP in hand, and a pen in the other.
Admittedly, this IS fan-art, but I can't seem to find the SubSection for Fan Art.
Secondly, I'm not selling this or anything as such, and I want to learn how to draw a snipe. (I've searched around tutorials and only found ones for guns, but not snipes in particular) sweatdrop

I also really don't mind critiques body-wise, though what I'm looking for in particular are hands and the snipe itself. (of course). Any other critiques are welcomed with open arms.



Red lines (or blue in this case, are much loved, and though I'm not specifically asking for tutorials, if any one has seen any regarding snipes or passed by them, they're much loved)

I believe the "Fan Art" section was merged with this default section since people were asking for critique all the same, but lots of people didn't bother checking out the "Fan Art" section.

I think the head seems like it's being pushed back too far, and the angle of the breasts doesn't seem to be matching to me. This is how the picture looks to me and what I'd do with it (I might've guessed wrong on how you intended the neck to be and stuff):

The part I pointed at with a question mark, I'm not sure what that's supposed to be. Is that some sort of plating on the glove, or is it the hand? It either looks too blocky or too flat or something... I'm not really sure what it's supposed to be, but the hand on the right looks quite good for the most part. I hope the highest corner of that hand is meant to be the knuckle... If it is, I think you should try to make it more clear that it isn't the first segment of the finger. If you form a fist, the gaps between your fingers don't reach all the way up; it's connected at the thickness of your hand. That seems hard to explain... I'll just draw a picture:


I agree with hentaro14 about how nice the eyes look, and that it's an interesting picture overall.
