They say a picture can be worth a thousand words and maybe that's true. But do you know what lasts longer than any picture could dream of? A story. Stories have been passed by word of mouth or by pen to paper for thousands of generations. Myths of vampires and demons, some that will use you for their needs and others that will have you join them. Legends of great heroes who fought tireless to rid the world of evils or vice-versa. And your goal today is to add to that collection of stories with a tale of your own...

Main Contest:

I want you to write me a story about a legend of your own design. I want to hear about characters and exploits, lands of their travels, and their enemies. Make it how you please but there are rules that you must follow.

1. All submissions must be sent to me via private message so others cannot "borrow" from your work. You must send me an initial message if you wish to compete in this so I know not to end the contest before you finish your work.

2. All submissions must be literate, meaning proper punctuation and spelling. If you've got a spell checker, you better use it.

3. Make it good. Remember, you are in a competition here and everyone else will be trying to win. If you submit three to four sentences, chances are you're going to lose...horribly.

4. Winners will be announced after I have received all entries and reviewed them.
