Word. Update: I'm super pissed at myself for the line on his forehead. >:[ Other than that, <3 If anyone knows how I can fix it, I'd appreciate it. I've been told for years by my art teacher, "You can change the color but you can't change the value" so I'm sticking to that and leaving it be unless someone knows a way to lighten that s**t up.

To lighten the color, I always use a kneaded eraser. It can't completely remove the color, but it definitely lightens it. I use prisma colored pencils if that makes any difference (I've heard it does).
Either just pat the eraser around the area you want to lighten, or rub but be careful not to rub too hard. : P Colored pencils don't like hard rubbin's.
The picture is looking pretty awesome so far.

And. I haven't, actually. And out of the ones I have, only 2 were drawing seriously. This is the only one srs and in color. I just really wanted to color something and I wanted it to be not animu.
ALSO SONNEN HE SHAVED HIS MUSTACHE. IT'S SO WEIRD.
Yesterday we were discussing how he would come off as creeper to people who didn't know him. And he shaved it.
