DarkspineBackstory: Moam is unsure of his beginnings, not knowing if he was born or simply created. He remembers nothing of being a foal, but does remember a two-leg claiming to own him. This being attempted to use Moam as a weapon, bending his will and forcing evil to grow within his core.
However, Moam was stronger than thought and eventually escaped his captor.
Personality: Moam is very loyal to his beliefs and the people he chooses to let into his life. He's got a strong head, and can be stubborn at times, but his intentions are always good. In an effort to help distance himself from his past, he doesn't allow people or events to bring him down. Moam believes that if you want happiness then you have to go after it, and not wait for it to fall into your lap. Therefore, he is quick to smile, quick to laugh, and sometimes quick to love.
Moam does have a dark side. The armor he wears on his head is not only for protection. He uses it as a way to shield his face from the world. Terrified that his face will frighten other soquili, especially mares, he becomes angry and hostile whenever someone requests to see his face. God forbid anyone try to forcibly take his helm off.

Obsidian was raised by his father Moam and the Herd he is a leader of. Always watching and mimicking his dad, he learned to be strong yet gentle, proud but also mild. Not being a full member of the Moonglade herd, he often would take off to go on mini adventures to feed his desire for thrill, sightseeing and solitude.
With foals now, Obsidian finds himself wanting to stick close to the herd. The open road is no place for young ones... Yet.
Personality: Obsidian's quite the reserved fellow, but anything and everything he says, little as it may be at times, is always full of meaning.
The older he got the more his wandering spirit developed.

She grew up sheltered by her father, with him trying desperately to figure out what caused Acantha's mutation. She had flowers that sprouted from her very skin!
Personality: Acantha is unpredictable. In general she's a great girl, but whatever it was that gave her the flowers, also warped her thinking. One minute she will seem as though she is perfectly fine, the next she could be angry, sad, laughing hysterically or act vacant.
Her Father is usually the only one who can calm her down from her episodes, usually by taking her to the ocean. His therapy and hers.

CortanaBackstory: The Chief was raised since he was a foal to be a warrior.
Instead of frolicing in a meadow or playing with other soquili, he was constantly taught the art of warfare. The strategy, the history, the bloodshed. Battles between soquili or ones involving the two-leggers.
He was taught mental and physical toughness, and when he was of age, was donned with the armor he wears now. It's seen many fights, and will likely see many more.
Personality: Master Chief is the stoic soldier. The soquili who will push the limits of his being to protect and serve. To ask nothing in return. To most he is a suit of armor. A battle-hardened soq, no emotion and no want.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Because of his harsh upbringing he lack many pieces of the puzzle that would him normal. He is broken. He lacks the core of a soquili. There is only one who makes him whole, puts the pieces together. The one who is his everything, the one he'd give everything.... And the only one who calls him John.
