Today my mum decided to treat me to a day out to a place called St Annes, it has a beach, an arcade, shops, and a long paddling pool for kids, but adults can sit down and dip their feet in the water. The water was cold, but I definitely enjoyed dipping my feet in it.
I forgot to mention that my gran also came with us to St Annes.
I saw a shop by the beach, so I popped in, looked around and grabbed a candy dummy because it looked yummy, and sure enough it was extremely lovely. =P
I had a really good time.

I hate the beach. There's always seeweed floating around in the water, and I HATE seeweed. Even if it so much as brushes against me, I freak out. I burn really easily too, no matter how much sunscreen I put on (or how many times I put it on). And sand gets in my swimsuit. The water's always freezing cold. Apparently it's warm during the winter, but I don't feel like swimming in winter. In fact, I don't like swimming at all.
Anyway, I'm glad you didn't share my experience of the beach. (:
EDIT: Oh god I spelled "seaweed" wrong. Twice! D:

Ah...are names are almost the same and i love the beach tho i burn easy but i know how to swim and i love to float and i love the sand between my toe feeling. candy is another thing in it's self i actually have a major sweet tooth so my brother takes my candy and chocolate and sweets away...he gives them bake most of the time but some times he eats them i get so mad at him um...i'm gonna stop now.

Sounds fun! I like the beach, I can walk to one from my house. (:
I'm not a fan of big, touristy,sunny beaches though to be honest.
I much prefer walking down to the beach in the pouring rain with my friends, no idea why. xD

I haven't been the beach in forever.
Unfortunately, the beach nearest to here is Galveston, and you know what BP's done to the gulf coast.

My favorite beach ever was in California though.
I believe it was Redondo Beach or something. Near Disneyland? Or at least on the way to/from Disneyland.
I was like, six or seven when I went there.
I don't remember much, but it was beautiful.

Sounds fun.
I went to the beach yesterday and daaang. I was sandy. One thing I don't like about the beach is when I get sand over everything. That irritates me.
