Quick bug notice: Using an apostrophe (') symbol in the title of a Mini Mail message disables the receiver from being able to reply to the message. For the time being, avoid using the symbol on your Message's titles until it's been fixed.

So you just recently signed up for a new TinierMe account. Or perhaps you signed up a while ago but kept away from exploring?

Here are some facts to keep in mind that might help:

Several Facts
-Never tell anyone your login account username, or password.
Like Gaia Online, TinierMe Staff will also never ask you for these. In the event that something is wrong with your account that requires Staff to log into your account, they will first ask for your permission to log into it -they wont if you deny them permission- and they will NEVER ask for your password. They don't need it. There are indeed a few password phishing Mini Mails going around TM. I haven't encountered one myself, but know people who have.

-TinierMe was established on October 5, 2009 by GCrest.
It is in a way, a shadow of it's older Japanese counterpart, @Games, which was established around 2006. Everything they currently have, we will eventually have as TM progresses.

-TinierMe is only still in it's Beta state.
We are like the beta testers; we may often or every now and then encounter bugs/glitches/errors. It's perfectly normal and TM staff is usually always very hard at work to fix these. Also, bare in mind that as a beta site, the site's functions are not definite. There will always be improvement as they add new features. (Like the current trading system. Once upon a misfortunate time, we traded only via Gifting. Much scamming happened then). I'll post a guide regarding scams momentarily.

-Need help from the Staff, or wish to make a suggestion?
There is no forum for that on TM like there is here on Gaia. There is however an inquiry page where you may fill out a form for any site issues, questions and suggestions. You can find this page Here or on the Help & Support page which is located on the top of the TinierMe website.
The inquiry for is also used to submit reports when a user or users are out of line. At the moment, TM doesn't offer us a convenient Report button. TM staff will usually contact you within the week after sending in a report. The longest I've ever waited was 3 days, and they usually return my messages around 12AM PST/PDT. TM Staff is friendly and so far very understanding.

-Are you a trader, or item collector of a sort?
There is currently no market. Once upon a time Gaia also had no market. The majority of trading is done either on the SELFY SHOP Items forums, via Diaries, and Chat rooms. Every now and then, people may come by and ask you to trade via SELFY town or through Mini Mail (MM).
Some people have a wishlist on their profile pages - the current TM wishlist only works for items from the SELFY Shop and items can only be added through browsing the SELFY Shop.
If you like or want to trade, I recommend to you the fan-made TinierMe trading page: Here
They have an up-to-date database on all of TM's current items.
I'll post a guideline for this site in the near future.

Currency
-Chibi Coins
Chibi Coins (CC) are the main currency used on TinierMe; much like Gaia Gold. CC will buy you most of the typical SELFY Shop Items, and for the typical amount of 80 CC, you can spin away on the CC Gacha for a limited-time item. I will later explain Gacha.
There are different ways to obtain CC. The most efficient way I have found is through playing the DokiDoki IQ High School game. There are 5 different IQ categories, each offering a different mini game to play. Reach level 20 on any of the games will earn you a total of about 400 Chibi Coins. It is possible to reach level 20 on some of the games within 10-15 minutes if you play enough to learn the game mechanics (legally of course).
Other common ways of earning Chibi Coins include:
Posting a Diary - 5cc
Commenting on a Diary - 2cc
Signing a Guestbook - 1cc
Participating in the weekly poll - 20cc (only works the first time)
Logging into TM the first time everyday - 5cc
Logging into SELFY Town the first time everyday - 5cc (plus an additional extra for having more friends)
Having over 100 friends will grant you 100 Chibi Coins for every first time you log into SELFY Town for the day.

-G-Coins
G-Coins (GC) is the paid Cash currency on TinierMe, much like Gaia Cash. G-Coins will buy you premium items. There are certain Selfy Shop items that can only be bought with G-Coins. Most typically, G-Coins are used to spin away on the G-Coin Boy, Girl or exclusive Gachas for a limited-time GC item, one of which usually includes an Animated item. There are also certain events that work in a similar fashion as the Gacha which ask for the use of G-Coins. Occasionally, these events only last for about 2 weeks - half the span of the typical Gacha.
You can buy G-Coins by visiting the Buy G-Coins page which is found underneath your right-margin avatar menu - there's a little green button you can't miss.
Currently, they offer payments through PayPal, Credit/Debit. ClickandBuy and Rixty.
Rixty is a sort of Cash Card method where you find a store that offers this service, pay up the cashier with money, and then you are given a redeem code of a sort for the amount you paid which is then input through the Rixty function on TM.

Like gaia, TinierMe also has Offers, or Tasks as some on TM call it, that you can complete for G-Coins. The easiest ones to complete would probably be the ones that ask you to watch a trailer. Not all will work for everyone.

Items
-Selfy Shop Items
Much like the Gaia Gold Shop items, these items are available anytime, unless temporarily placed for an event (like the Gold and Silver Pickaxe for the first DokiDoki event and the Red Balls for the Mysterious Ball Campaign) On several occasions, some Gacha items - usually some of the ones that retain to a current Gacha Campaign can sometimes be available in the SELFY Shop.
At the beginning of the establishment of TinierMe, there were some SELFY Shop items that were removed - certain colors of certain items particularly - but this hasn't happened ever since.
For the official Selfy Shop guide, follow This Link.

-TinierMe Gacha
The TinierMe Gacha is a sort of limited-time item granting event, similar to Gaia's RIG or Chance Items, except that each of the available items in the specific Gacha you view will visually show you all of the available items that are possible to obtain. The current typical Gacha offers three different Gacha Categories. The first and most common one, which appears like a Green spin machine depicts the (Chibi) CC Gacha - It will usually cost 80 Chibi Coins for a single Spin. There have been occasions where special deals are offered, like for the Crescent Moon Gacha which only cost 60 CC for a single spin.
The Second Gacha is usually depicted by a Red spin machine (Girl) can be bought for 50 GC per spin.
The Third Gacha is usually depicted by a Blue spin machine (Boy), and is also bought for 50 GC per spin.
The G-Coin Gachas usually all offer a deal that for every 10 spins, you get a free spin, but this bonus is only available for each of the individual Gacha you use. For instance, if you spin the Girl Gacha 10 times, you will only recieve a free spin from that same Girl Gacha. The credit wont pass over to the Boy Gacha, or to the Gacha of any other theme.
New Gacha items can only be traded 2 weeks after they have been released. This was implemented to help the new items retain more value. The typical Gacha will run for a total of about 4 weeks. There has been occasions where a Gacha has been extended due to popular demand - The Sleeping Selfy Gacha for instance was extended for an extra week.

-Gacha Campaigns
Sometimes, with a new Gacha comes a Special Gacha Campaign Event that is specific to the introduced Gacha. Iif you manage to obtain all of the specified asked items from a particular Gacha, you can exchange the items for a special Gacha Campaign item. The typical Gacha Campaign runs for about 2 weeks, and all campaign event-related items from the Gacha will not be tradeable until after the Campaign is over. The exchanged Campaign Item however is always tradeable.
Located on This Page, you will find a list of all current Gacha Campaigns and Current Events.

-Event Items and Events on TinierMe
So far, there has always been some sort of Event running on TinierMe. Events will usually grant you a special event item after you meet the event's requirements.
You can find all of TinierMe's currently running events on the link I posted above for the Gacha Campaign. It's worth looking into that page every now and then - particularly after Tuesdays and Fridays, when an typical update maintenance usually occurs.

-Animated items and Animoots
Are both referring to the same thing. Animated items. Items that move, are usually the most prized of the different item available on TinierMe. Most every G-Coin Gacha offers a series of a few animated items that can be obtained from the item pool. These tend to be harder to manage and are therefore rarer and more valuable. The Siren's Song Gacha is the first Gacha to offer an animated item in the Chibi Gacha item pool.
Some events on TinierMe also offer Animated items. Gacha Campaigns sometimes offer these as well, though they tend to be harder to obtain.
