Personality

Zhenyuli cares greatly for any animal or Soquili, and can't stand to see anyone in mental or physical pain, but hides it and puts up a tough front because they want to be a fierce troll like the rest of the family, and view such feelings as weakness. Zhenyuli bears so much resemblance to the troll family, but she is soft and comforting, a healer deep down. She can’t stand to see others in any kind of pain, but she also hates feeling or showing weakness, and this discomfort with herself is what spurred her to leave the lands of the troll family. She overcompensates and often ends up hurting people in order to hide and appear tough. If someone gets hurt of their own accord, though, she’ll get very concerned and help them, then act gruff about it once they’re fine and deny caring later. Zhenyuli can be a little prickly, and she can definitely be challenging to people, especially males, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t like someone. Zhenyuli is wary, and always aware of how she presents herself. She puts up an arrogant and tough front, but is really rather kind and outgoing, although she is fairly competitive and can be aggressive. She wants to know everything about the world around her and her main goal is just to travel and meet new people. She doesn’t know it, but she’s also trying to find herself.


Plots

Foal:

My Space: Zhenyuli has found her own little thicket that she frequents when she wants to be alone. She's decorated it with a few little trinkets and feathers, and it's where she keeps the herbs she's learning to heal with. I'd like her to meet a foal and become good enough friends with them that she brings them to her little hideout. The foal would have become friends with her originally due to her tough and stubborn front, and this is the time she'd tell the truth and show her sweet, caring side.

I Don’t Fit: With her mismatched personality that doesn’t fit with her looks, Zhenyuli needs to talk to people about this. She’s worried she’s growing apart from her family. With: Possibly Zandali, the foals, or other family members. She possibly seeks out a friend/mentor in Solemn and gets into trouble.

Oh no...: While trying to help someone/something, Zhenyuli’s tusks get in the way and grieviously wound them instead. She is horrified at the accident and becomes very rebellious. She hates her tusks, thinks they’re ugly, and begins to wonder about why looking like a troll is so important.

Yes, Teacher! Zhenyuli can't stand seeing people in any type of pain, and is secretly trying to learn how to heal and comfort people. She would meet a Soquili who had the role of a doctor or healer in the Kawani lands and learn from them, mixing their "scientific" teachings with her own spiritualism and intuition.

Adult:

Freedom: I would like Zhenyuli to eventually live out in the world for a little while, although I want to check this with Amirynth first. Any friends, male or female, to show her around the world outside her clan's lands would be wonderful.

A Shaman In Her Own Right: Zhenyuli has long been attuned to other people's pain, physical, mental, or emotional, and is finally embracing her ability to help them. Ideally, she'd become a sort of "wise woman" to other Soquili, a few adults and foals, and be able to form caring and warm relationships with them. At this point in time, Zhenyuli will be the most comfortable in her own skin, and rise to be a sort of shaman like her grandmother, but in a different way. This will take place while she's outside her clan's lands, but will transfer back with her later.

Mistakes: While out in the big world, I'd like for Zhenyuli to be attracted to a dangerous male. They could get together and have a fling which could or could not result in baskets. She has just ventured out into the world from her family’s lands, so whichever kind of Soq she meets, he’ll need to be more knowledgeable about the lands around her and will probably need to travel with her and be “adventurous”/reckless (at first anyway, if it’s a facade). The relationship would devolve into a dysfunctional controlling relationship over time and the male would eventually physically hurt Zhenyuli and leave. IMPORTANT: This will be heavy with plotting and/or RPing. Due to the new RP rules, nothing too violent/disturbing can be RPed out, but this WILL be an intricate, long plot.

This time around she’s looking for one of these three personalities (or a mix of them): 1) Someone suave and charming who will reel her in, but who has a dark, controlling side, even abusive. Despite all this, due to her love, she will be blinded until things progress to a certain point. He will hurt her severely (mentally or physically) and she will be changed forever.

2) Manipulative and needy, someone with a bad past and unresolved issues. Zhenyuli can’t stand to see others in pain, so she’ll become invested in helping the stallion in addition to falling in love with him. Once again, he’ll become controlling and obssessive, and a co-dependency may result, and she won’t want to leave him despite her misgivings. He’ll either just leave her one day and/or harm her.

3) A bad boy with a “sensitive” side underneath. Zhenyuli will think she can help him become a better person. In reality, she’s just a toy to him and after playing along, he’ll begin to show his true colors. Despite this, she will remain loyal and devoted to him, only defending herself when necessary. Again, he’ll neglect/abuse/manipulate her until she leaves/breaks.

Healing: After the mistakes with the previous male, Zhenyuli will be timid and afraid of the outside world. She'll need someone to build up her inner fire again and show her the safety of the world again. He would have to be willing to come live with Zhenyuli and the troll clan, as she'll want to return to the security of her home and family after her experiences. She could either meet this Soq when she was in need of help, or if he was, and she was concerned enough to resume her role as a healer and step outside of her new timidity for a short time. This would be a lifemate.

Mah Girlz: Zhenyuli needs more friends! Primarily I'd like one to three female friends who can be close to Zhenyuli. She might be gruff at first, but she's actually very friendly. She'll have a lot in common with very strong, independent mares, but I'd like her to have one or two soft-spoken friends, too. All are welcome!
