What do you suggest?

i'm in a search for an amazing book. Here's the thing; i vary with what i like. Some romance, but not that rated R stuff. i love the book Scribbler of Dreams by Mary E Pearson. But also somewhat like fantasies. Such as Uglies (Scott Westerfeld), The Hunger Games (Suzanne Collins). i also enjoy early Chinese historical fiction: Snow Flower and the Secret Fan & Peony in Love; both by Lisa See. i also very much like the depressing books (Thirteen Reasons Why). i prefer first female POVs but am willing to venture out.
What do you suggest?

I dont read much, so I cant really give you much for suggestions,
"Stargirl" was a book I found to be boring, but you may like it, its about this girl who is way different than any other girl, and I think this guy starts to really like her,
I dont remember exactly how it went.
It has a sequel in case your interested in the first book,

Uhhh, hope that helps. If you like Hawksong, it's a series, but Hawksong and Wyverinhail are my favorites in the series. Now I want to go reread Hawksong. >.>

I always recommend anything by the marvelous Ellen Hopkins, (Impulse and Tricks are my favorites), but they might be a little too 'rated R' for you.

are some good books as well.

This Is All: The Pillow Book of Cordelia Kenn by Aidan Chambers. By far, the most amazing book I've ever read.

I really enjoyed Kelley Armstrong's books, both her more mature series which starts with Bitten, and her new teen series, which starts with The Summoning. I thought I'd throw it in because of 'fantasy', but it's more supernatural, I guess. They're still super-captivating, though :3

I liked the Luxe series, but they might not be your thing. XD And the ending didn't seem worth all that buildup.

I'd suggest Where the Heart Is by Billie Letts.
I've read it twice, and seen the movie multiple times.

Both are great, the book is far better. :]
