How's it going so far? biggrin
Mine doesn't feel like a vacation, since I'm always on the go, doing something for church or taking care of some errand that needs to be done.
At least it's hot here. 3nodding I haven't seen a beach yet! whee But fear not: I plan to rectify that soon! 4laugh

Well... I didn't do anything and school is starting soon!!
I helped with students with pre-algebra and getting credit for that.
Let's see... I'm mostly at school everyday >.<
I didn't do anything fun with my friends and I want to hang out with them but they don't sooo....
Summer 2010 isn't working out for me.... No love >n<

Summer vacation...work filled for me! Working the 10-6 constantly!
But I'm on leave now, and I'm very thankful for that. I need these last couple of weeks to start preparing for school again :[

In my situation, I helped one student (spent 30 minutes) find the denominator of a fraction. He still needs more help with fractions and I know he can do it. But I am getting tired of showing him the denominator however I do have patience for him.
I spend 4 freaking hours in a classroom doing nothing for four days every week @n@
I dislike attending and volunteering there because 3 students wants to test me and see how angry I will get at them. >n<
I held a kid back to help him with this work because I know he didn't understand it and I take the rules and the work seriously.
@Comic: I wish I could get a job but the stupid workers didn't accept me for the second time. I just feel like I give up on extra work that I want to do over the summer. >.<
Who wouldn't accept a teen with the following:
Tutoring, coaching, excel and word work, filing, volunteering anywhere, media worker, and a child care person???
TnT maybe I'm not cut out for work...
How can you find a job during the summer? Never apply online...
Darn you Mayor Daley After School Matters... *smashes fist to wall*
Darn I wrote a lot, doubt it if anyone would read the entire thing...
I'm upset now....
Nothing to do since Monday will be my last week volunteering at schools.....

That's quite alot, Shiro. surprised
I'm sorry that you didn't get the job. But have you tried sending in your resume in other schools/institutions? Whatever you do, DO NOT write in your cover letter that you are looking for a temporary job, since most company's are looking to hire permanent members of staff. Just leave the job when you have to. 3nodding
And you're doing a really good thing: helping out those kids. 3nodding You should be really proud of yourself. razz And never give up in finding your dream job!
