Makeshift Malevolence : Ancient Ruins

User Image

Hidden within the darkness of caves and underground tunnels rests the ancient ruins of a forgotten civilization. The buildings are semi-collapsed, pillars covered in moss and trees growing around and through the ruins. This place holds a certain feeling of peace and is often used for training as well as camping. Water pools in mass here, creating small ponds and large puddles.

XXXXXKnight enters the temple where he knew it would be the best location of training. Due to the fact not many people came here at all, especially at this time of death. "Now lets get to it already" Knight said to himself with a nice big smile on his face. He had took a seat on the stone ground below and opened up a scroll to teach all he would need to know. The first thing he would have to do was meditation, channeling his chakra correctly if anything.

XXXXXMeditating would help bring his mind to ease from any stray thoughts. It was a must for him to practice such a style of fighting. Also it would allow him to learn the correct amount of chakra to apply with each use of the first stage. "I feel it almost getting there, just a little bit more, but I need to relax some." Knight said to himself, gaining the confidence and composer of a true shinobi.

XXXXX"First things first, I need to learn the impact and original techniques, which is the base of the style, Side Step. Should be that hard, not when you have the Hatake blood course through a body like this." Knight said to himself as a simple joke, he knew deep down it would easy to have his body rid of chakra using this style of fighting. He take a deep breath and close both of his eyes, channeling chakra through out his body, at a balance and even level of flow. Knight quickly opens both of his eyes, as he feet quickly shift over the the right. At the very moment Knight looks over his shoulder to see a image, that of which he did. "Sweet mother of Kumo, I did the damn Side Step, I'm on my way now I just know it.

XXXXXKnight then took another glimpse of the scroll on the ground below him, still excited from learning the side step, to next jutsu was sure to be a breeze as well. "Delayed Punch?" sounds like it will come in handy in my near feature, someone shall get the business for sure." Knight said to himself, standing up right getting ready to learn the next technique. Knight put up his guard with both hands in a fighting position. In his current style he could block in easily counter, but using this technique, the counter would be more natural. Knight swung his fist rather wide with a single punch, the punch of cure did have chakra upon it, but within. Seconds after he punch a image of his arm follow behind, Knight could feel the force of the image swing in the wind itself. "Holy s**t, this is gone be so sweet, but now I need to draw in and collect what I've learn today."

XXXXXTaking another seat upon the stone floor of the ruins, Knight sat in meditation form to collect his thoughts of training. This was usually a must whenever he learn something new, so that would not easily forget. That and his father would tell him to do the same, after any sort of lesson. "With this learn under my belt, I just completed stage one of my mirror image training." Knight said, as he opens his eyes to look about the ruins, amazed at the site of it all. Shortly after Knight left the ruins to do training else where.

((CONTINUOUS POST OF EDUCATION! WILL UPDATE UNTIL FINISHED!))

A flutter of papers collapsed onto a small stone landing, which rose like a fountain, molding into a shape of a slight boy. Aurelio walked slowly through the ruins, high above the ground, balancing himself neatly on a narrow pathway which, admittedly, he wasn't sure whether it was a road or not. He didn't bother to look down, for he knew that the drop was dizzying. The earth wasn't even visible any longer, seeing as the columns which supported his path were licked by a surreal fog of pure white and gray. Dust-ridden shafts of golden light frequently passed over him as he progressed and the sound of the wind blowing below was naught but a low roar. He sighed with delight from his walkway, high above the influence of even the wind itself. Birds seldom chirped their happy songs, but when they did, the sound rang clear through the molasses that enshrouded the ruins, like a bell rung on a silent night. The yellow-ish golden stone that paved the road he walked on crunched dangerously beneath his feet and moss and vines grew through the cracked walls of structures that rose around him in the distance. He sunk into a small, dome-like building, unlit and broken down by the merciless hammer of age. His footsteps echoed ominously through the room and then halted as he came to a stop in the center, where a beam of light showered him with inhuman radiance. At the far end, he heard the low roar of water... A fountain? Then followed a tumbling rumble of scrolls falling to the ground, slicing through the air as a shaft of thunder would. When the noise receded, all was silent. It was time to train.

In a matter of minutes, scrolls were strewn all across the floor of the building, messily and haphazardly placed upon debris, broken pillars, and leaned up against walls. His eyes were thoroughly adjusted to the darkness. To the silent observer on the outside, one could hear only occasional grunts of effort coming from inside, followed by a large slam, which in turn spurned a long silence. And then the noise would begin yet again. Within, Aurelio fought off imaginary enemies, strictly abiding to the instructions on the scrolls. His thoughts raced, trying to fill himself with hatred. Spiteful Strike... Disdainful Elbow... Unrefined Kick... Spiteful Strike... He cycled through the three techniques until they were perfected.
[1/1: Mastered Stage 1 - Tekina no Ikari]

Aurelio never halted his training. He discarded the unneeded scroll to the side in a disdainful manner, kicking up a renewed cloud of dust. To that, he took no more than two steps towards the next scroll. He sat down swiftly, ending in a meditating position, closing his eyes and blocking out all of the outside noises that which may interrupt his concentration.
[1/2: Stage 2 - Tekina no Ikari]

His mind was blank and no thoughts flowed through his head. One moment. Two moments. Three moments. The silence was all consuming. And then, he felt it. An all consuming rage. More intense than hate. No, the greater spawn of hate. Envy. He gritted his teeth and from the outside, he could feel sweat bead his entire body, subsequently cooling him, leaving him feeling empty and chilled. He "awoke", panting heavily; his mind felt heavy and his muscles even more so.
[2/2: Mastered Stage 2 - Tekina no Ikari]

Aurelio spent hours, tying slabs of broken stone to vines and proceeding to secure them to the ceiling of the dark chamber. When he was finished, the room looked like a forest of swaying stones, hanging from various heights. Perfect for the next step of his training. He gave one an experimental push, which in turn propelled another, sending a domino of disturbances through the entire forest. Then, he was forced to take action.
[1/3: Tekina no Ikari]

Bruises and scratches lined his body so thick, that the imperfections looked as if it was some stigma of sickness. But Aurelio was quick to learn and in no less than an hour, he adjusted his body to the harsh training it must experience in order to survive while using this stage. He lashed out at the swinging stones occasionally, causing an intimidating noise, followed by a shower of fine dust and stone. In no time, he was surrounded by nothing more than vines, still shuddering from the excitement, leaving Aurelio's body shaking and shivering with a cold that originated from deep inside himself..
[2/3: Tekina no Ikari]

Aurelio brushed past several vines, seating himself gratefully on the floor in a meditating position yet again. He was still panting, but after closing his eyes and burying himself deep into meditation, he forgot his pains and fatigue. All he could think about was his fury. The calm anger within all. Slowly and patiently consuming all who lay in its path. All who wish to vainly master it. He thought to his childhood. The isolation. The humiliations. Why on earth did they seem so much more important now? His eyes fluttered open and he realized that he was laying on his back, head sitting directly underneath the beam of light that flooded the dark room.
[3/3: Mastered Stage 3 - Tekina no Ikari]

Aurelio shut his eyes once more, wishing now to fall back into the numbness of meditation, but the light refused to leave his eyes. Slowly, he sat up, kicking aside another scroll and picking up another. He sluggishly unbuttoned his shirt after reading through its contents and tossed it to the side, letting it crumple neatly in a cloud of dust. His head swiveled towards the direction of the raging waters that he had identified when he had entered and walked towards it, only to be met with an unbudging wall. A simple punch shattered it into nothing more than rumble and a new light flooded the room. He was met with the sight of a strange garden, harboring hundreds of life-forms, untouched by the hand of man. He stood on a high rock formation, which dropped down into a pool, with a curtain of water crashing down upon it, causing a spray of white foam.
[1/7: Tekina no Ikari]

Aurelio seated himself below the waterfall, feeling the bite of cold water rushing over his bare back. His frame involuntarily shivered, against the unstoppable current and each breath, he choked on sprays of water. It wasn't long before he forgot about the pain and fell into the shadows of meditation once again.
[2/7: Tekina no Ikari]

As the numbing pain on his head and shoulders faded into the darkness, Aurelio recalled his past yet again. Why? He cycled through his past, playing alone. Driving away those who approached him. Exploring the town with imaginary friends. His guardians who uttered not a word to him. it all seemed so sad now. He wanted nothing more but to reach out and touch the boy in the images that flashed before his mind.
[3/7: Tekina no Ikari]

From his metaphysical form, he extended a tentative arm. He was surprised to see the boy in the image look up, with an expression mixed with intrigue and horror. Aurelio's hand passed right through, dispersing the image into a fine dust. Wha-... Some invisible wind picked up the white smoke and carried it off behind him; Aurelio wheeled around, his heart sinking into his stomach and he chased after the fleeting memories. Aimlessly, through the darkness.
[4/7: Tekina no Ikari]

He wasn't sure for how long he was running, but the smoke was already far out of sight. And Aurelio slowed to a stop, panting and sobbing, heaving with sadness. Oh... Oh... he uttered, sitting himself on the invisible floor below him. He wanted to curl up and disappear. Sink into this all consuming darkness.
[5/7: Tekina no Ikari]

The floor gave way. He was free-falling through the darkness. No sound came from his lips as he tried to scream, but he kept on vainly trying to do so. Was it because he was intrigued at this phenomenon? Or was it because he desperately wanted to hear his voice? And then, as if he fell into another room, his surroundings faded to white and he made contact with another floor.
[6/7: Tekina no Ikari]

He felt no pain, but he felt the impact shudder all throughout his body. Momentarily, he writhed. He stood slowly, taking in his surroundings. A blindingly white landscape. White upon white upon white. He turned, hoping to find something to break the monotonous world, but was met with a younger image of himself. Aurelio jumped and so did the boy. He leaned forward and so did the boy. They reached out to touch one another, and when their fingers met, they jumped away. "Who are..." they said at the same time. His younger self then spoke out of turn. "You haven't changed one bit." a smile crept across his younger form's face, twisting his features into a horrific demon. "Si rimarrà per sempre solitario." You will forever remain alone. Aurelio merely stood, mouth agape, tears forming, clouding his vision. The truth in the words stung. The apparition slowly faded away, until his head only remained. "How... Undesirable." Aurelio rushed forward to punch the image, but it merely dispersed into the whiteness.
[7/7: Mastered Stage 4 - Tekina no Ikari]

The low roar of a waterfall filled his ears with a deafening volume. His entire body was ice cold and his back felt raw. All except his face, which was streaked with warm tears, flowing as a steady stream from his eyes. He stood up stiffly and fell forward into the pool, legs too weak to support even the slightest weight. Aurelio reentered the dome shivering violently, arms held close to his body in order to conserve body heat. He coughed several times and stood beneath the beam of light, relishing the warmth it rained down over his head. And then he collapsed.
[1/7: Tekina no Ikari]

Aurelio was within the white room again, and his heart sunk at the prospect of meeting himself once more. But no one came. He looked around, unsure of whether he wanted someone with him or not, but he felt empty all the same. He reflected upon his hatred, jealousy, fury, and sadness and thought long and hard. It was all in the past. But could he put it behind him? He remembered the Raikage's words and it instantly played, as if their were speakers in the white room. He tried to smile. That's right. I have an appointment to keep.
[2/7: Tekina no Ikari]

"Can't you see?" An all too familiar voice entered his ears. Aurelio wheeled around, faced once again with his child self. "You are no more than a tool." Aurelio's face grew frightening and he tried to punch the ghost of his past. It immediately disappeared with a small rush of air, and it was followed by a rather inelegant laughter. It came from behind him. Aurelio made a spin kick, but all he caught was another cloud of dust. More laughter.
[3/7: Tekina no Ikari]

It didn't take long before Aurelio was screaming with frustration and fury, and laughter rang through the white room as if watching him struggle was a comedy. He stopped eventually, falling into a kneeling position. The laughter didn't die. "Dogs can just die..." A voice came from just beside his left ear. He turned his head swiftly, but was met with nothing. "You are not wanted..." It came from the left and Aurelio twisted his entire body around. Nothing still. "Why do you live...?"
[4/7: Tekina no Ikari]

For who knows how long, rants rained down upon Aurelio. The voice was sickly sweet, as if it were speaking to a baby. He no longer resisted, but only curled up into a small ball, rocking back and forth, tears falling from his face, eyes shut tightly life if he was trying to drive away a scary dream. As if to drown out the taunts, he muttered random babble, like a man no longer sane. Not that he was very sane in the first place. I will trust you with my life.
[5/7: Tekina no Ikari]

Aurelio's eyes fluttered open, tears still streaming. "No one needs you." the voice came, this time more frantically. That's right. Someone has entrusted him with an important job. "It's all just a lie." It was screaming. But in the short while he had been in Kumogakure, he had already met two wonderful women. "Dog's should just die!" Aurelio sat up, and from where he was positioned, darkness began to crawl, spreading across the floor. Don't tell me what to do.
[6/7: Tekina no Ikari]

At those simplistic words, the darkness shot out, spreading to the farthest corners of the room. A soft, child-like babbling erupted as the shadows consumed the light and it slowly receded into nothing. His world was filled with pure black once more. Aurelio smiled. This is how it should be. His true eyes fluttered open, and he found himself bathed with a golden light. His body no longer hurt, and he felt an enormous calm grasping onto his emotions. A smile spread across his face as he realized it was over.
[7/7: Mastered Stage 5 Tekina no Ikari]

Aurelio stood quickly. Unnaturally fast in fact. His rise caused a wave of wind from the mere disturbance. He winced, feeling the stinging pain of his muscles and bones screaming against the movement. I've got to be careful from here on out... He rubbed his knees slowly, kneeding them out until the pain disappeared. His scrolls fluttered as he waved his arms around, testing their flexibility after the hours of meditation. Only one remained untouched. His training was almost over.
[1/9: Tekina no Ikari]

He reached out a hand towards the rolled scroll and it flew to his hand, and he preceded to untie the strings on it. It unraveled like a waterfall down upon the floor and he skimmed over the contents. A moment later, it was discarded to the side, and began to roll itself back into its original form. Aurelio walked around the room. As he passed the scrolls, they raveled themselves and slid across the floor into a neat pile.
[2/9: Tekina no Ikari]

The lanky framed boy stood in the light, looking up with whimsical eyes. Was the world always this... Euphoric? He felt so much more powerful. So much more calm befell his mind. A smile slowly spread across his face. So much more omnipotence at his disposal. He punched the air to his left, and meters away, the wall gave way, letting light flood into the room. He punched to the left, revealing the breath-taking sight of nature overpowering the adobe of man. And then he remembered. He had something he must attend to.
[3/9: Tekina no Ikari]

That's right. He had an appointment to keep. Through all of the ecstasy, he neglected to remember why he wanted to grow strong. He stomped into the ground and his foot became buried a foot deep into the stone. How would Raikage Kimiko fair against his power? No. She was Kage. It would not be wise to underestimate. He swiped his foot across the floor, tearing stone, lifting it as easily as one may move sand. But I am powerful.
[4/9: Tekina no Ikari]

Aurelio lifted his foot. Dirty, but unscratched. He walked across the floor, literally gliding across the floor. He walked towards the waterfall garden and dove from the overhang, front-flipping into the pool below. He rose from the pool, like some man bent on an impossible task. He looked hellish indeed. The water retracted away from him and the water droplets bounced from his body as if his skin was red hot metal. His eyes glinted.
[5/9: Tekina no Ikari]

He took a step onto the surface of the water, and another above. The water rushed to support his feet. Slowly, he made sets of stairs, spiraling high into the air until he was back on the landing he dove from. Aurelio jumped from side to side, testing his capabilities. It seemed that his limbs were functioning fine, but he could have sworn he felt the pops and cracks of his tendons. At this he stopped, frozen with the fear of damaging himself.
[6/9: Tekina no Ikari]

What was going on? Were his limbs always this fragile? Or maybe he just got too strong to fast? He stretched his arm over his shoulder, hearing more pops. It didn't hurt. It must be fine. From hours of still meditation, his body was bound to be stiff. He walked back into the dome, arm out and he close-lined the entrance, neatly framing it in the stone.
[7/9: Tekina no Ikari]

Debris flaked from his arm and a cloud of dust trailed behind. He stood still, momentarily and all was silent. Suddenly, he sliced his leg through the air, which was proceeded by a whirring sound and a large explosion of chakra. The entire structure seemed to shake from the impact. The dome showered down dust and stone, but Aurelio refused to cease. He rained kicks and punches to the inside of the building, shadow boxing invisible enemies.
[8/9: Tekina no Ikari]

Large stone formations crashed over his body, but Aurelio felt no pain. They passed over him like if nothing happened. In a matter of minutes, the structure was no more. Only a shattered halo that had crumbled around him like a mighty god who had destroyed his own tower. The sun beat down upon him and he was panting. He was bleeding, much to his own surprise. Had he overestimated himself? His entire body was sore. Yeah. He overdid it. He took a step towards his scrolls, faced with an onslaught of pain, causing him to limp the remainder of the way. He gathered them up, leaving his shirt on the ground and began to fade into slips of paper. Even his exit looked weakened, the paper flying from his body feebly. And in a gust of wind, his body disappeared from sight.

Aru took in the grand scenery of this place. The shape of the earth both beautiful and dangerous makes her adrenaline rush. "I brought you here for some... reasons." Aru pulled out her scroll with a picture of Sypher in black ink. "Hopefully we can train together while in battle." Roughly trying to explain her thoughts, Aru found it difficult. "Well... we can't learn anything unless we have a sensei or scrolls I guess... but." She realized something she had forgotten. "Do you have a Kekkei Genkai?"

Sypher jumped from rock to rock, avoiding the sharper points as he held his shoes aloft "This place is pretty cool, that's for sure." he stared up at one of the old and abandoned buildings, wondering who could have designed and built such an amazing structure. He flicked a look over at Zuni as she spoke to him and frowned "What is a 'kekkei genkai'?" he asked, not familiar with ninja terminology.

"A bloodline, of course. Are you a descendant of ninjas with extraordinary abilities that no other has?" Aru asked smiling warmly and basking in the sunlight shining through the broken buildings. Aru then showed Sypher her drawing. "This is my Kekkei Genkai."

Sypher blanched, his face going slightly pale as he thought of the best way to avoid the subject. He was a descendant of a specific clan but had yet to show any sign of actual talent "I do. But that's really cool. So does the drawing do anything?"

((I can't use my bloodline till its approved ^^' So I'm going to say that Sypher is the black sheep. He can't use it very well so he doesn't.))

Aru jumped up. "That's great! So we can train together!" Watching Sypher take interest in her portrait she smiled warmly. "Yes, however... I haven't learned how to do it. It's suppose to move, jump, dance and spring into action." Aru looked at her drawing with eyes big and begging for it to do the things she said.

Ooc: Whaaaa! Hopefully, it will be accepted soon.

Sypher blinked at the explanation "The drawing is supposed to...move?" he looked at the image of himself uneasily before sitting on a rock, his bare feet swinging against the stone "I'm sure you'll get it. You seem to be very smart."

Aru took the compliment to heart. "Awh Syphey," she cooed while hugging her drawing of the bunny. "Get ready, to see living art!" Taking out her Ukiyo Mizo she unsheathe the blade. Lightly she placed it on her skin and giggled from the nostalgic cold feeling of it. Ssssh. A deep cut in the palm of her hand opened and she mixed it with the endless blackness of the ink.
[1/5: Sumi Bunshin no Jutsu. Rank C. No instruments.]

Taking her paint brush she traced over the regular ink she used earlier in Sypher's portrait with the blood fill ink she is using now. "Tehehe.." Aru laughed low and dark.
[2/5: Sumi Bunshin no Jutsu. Rank C. No instruments.]

After completing the drawing she began to sit and think, or more like concentrating on something. Head slightly down, hands together and fingers intertwined; Aru peacefully looked at the image.
[3/5: Sumi Bunshin no Jutsu. Rank C. No instruments.]

Soon smokey green energy surrounded her sitting form and so was the picture. The ink was fogging with green like a poisonous mist.
[4/5: Sumi Bunshin no Jutsu. Rank C. No instruments.]

Aru seems to started struggling a little as her body started to tremble a little. Suddenly, the stuggle was over. "Oh.. if I knew it would be this simple then I wouldn't have placed to much blood into it," she said licking her bloody palm casually. The laughter of pure joy came from her as the ink started to pull away from the paper scroll. "A TRUE MASTERPIECE!!" Another being that looked identical to Sypher has appeared.
