Veggie Stir Fry!
Veggie Ingredients:
Garlic Onions Mushrooms Peppers Broccoli Carrots What ever else might be lurking in your fridge (celery, eggplant, pine nuts, water chestnut, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, green beans,) When I put this dish together I just use what's in my fridge at the time.
Spices:
Soy Sauce (Be sure you get the good stuff! The cheap stuff *Kikoman* is watery and salty. If you go to an Asian food store, you can find the thick, concentrated stuff that's nowhere near salty and costs around $1.99~)
Ginger Salt Pepper Cumin Plum Sauce if you can, if you can't steal a couple packs of Duck Sauce from a Chinese restaurant! XD
Chop it all up, toss it in a pan with some olive oil, stir fry until tender, and serve over white rice!
The reason I didn't include amounts is because a recipes like this don't really need them unless you're a**l about portions. Make as much as you want, use as many of one ingredient as you want, and season to taste.
This recipe is very easy to alter. You can make it meaty by tossing in some chopped up chicken, beef (preseasoned/marinated), or shrimp.
