Glancing outside the window, she viewed a scene involving a werewolf, a giant porcupine, and some sort of glue creature. Wincing, she turned away.That had to be painful. This must be what humans refer to as Darwinism.

"Well, this is the place for them, yes?"

The Acceptance Bin didn't answer, having already snuck the application off her desk.

"Impudent glutton!"

Name: Kasumi
Nicknames: She doesn't remember any, but Sumi sounds appropriate.
Gender: Female
Age: 15 years alive, 7 years dead.

Personality: Kasumi's not crazy, she swears.

She only remembers one thing, and very vaguely, from her past - she hated men. This extends to men of this world too. To her, men are chauvinistic, smelly pigs who deserve to Die in a Fire. She won't associate with a man on purpose, but knows she'll probably have to if she has classes with them. Men with authority, like teachers, will be obeyed, but begrudgingly. This hatred of the other gender is the only thing Kasumi can cling to from her past life, and she holds it very close to her heart. Obviously, a dirty male had something to do with her death, she thinks, so which one is it? If forced to interact with a boy her age, she'll be short, simple and snippy to them. She won't wait to make nasty remarks about them too because she could just fade through a wall and be done with it.

With women, she's a whole 'nother ball of ectoplasm. Kasumi is her 'natural self' when around other women. She's kind, compassionate and above all, very friendly. She feels women understand her more, and are indeed the fairer sex. She's a giggly schoolgirl and has a large circle of female friends. She'd be more than happy to attend a sleepover, read gossip magazines or do another girl's hair. She even likes female reapers, despite their reputation for taking out ghosts. They're women! They wouldn't be so cruel. She had a very good relationship with her mother, but she doesn't remember it. Unconsciously, she extends this warm relationship to the women and female teachers in her unlife. In classes with female teachers, Kasumi would likely go above and beyond the call of duty in homework and participation.

When you get to the heart of things, she's really and truly afraid of men, but she doesn't want to succumb to the "weak woman" stereotype. She puts up a front when around the boys and lets it come down when around the girls. Girls are safer, more fun and much less frightening.

Now that she is a part of Student Council, Kasumi believes she has an image to uphold, and is very professional to everyone in her interactions. This includes boys. It would take quite a bit of dedication to break through her professional exterior, but she is very amicable when you do.

Why did they enroll at the academy? She was brought to Halloweentown by a reaper while she was wandering around the mental ward of a hospital. Not knowing anything about how she got there (aside from the reaper, of course), Kasumi opted to enroll in the local Academy to make friends and learn more about what she's become.

Natural Ability: Paralyzing Stare - All onryo possess the ability to stare down their opponent and paralyze them. This is only effective if they keep eye contact.

Eye Colour: Very light blue.
Hair Colour/Style: Black, slightly wavy and very thick. Goes down to the small of her back when not straightened.
Skin Colour: Lighter Caucasian with gray, vein-like markings all over the body.
Clothing Style/Colours: She's wearing a white hospital gown, stained with dirt and time.

Kasumi sees and hears things other people can't. As a result, she ended up in the mental ward. She can't stop or stem the flow of them, but she can plant them in someone else's mind for a time! The target of her Fear will start to see or hear things that are not actually there, the intensity of which will depend on Kasumi's strength (and her die roll). In layman's terms, it simply does damage.

[Maritess] - Kasumi adores Tess. She was stuck on a wall in a bathroom, but is very friendly and personable. Kasumi thinks her workout plan is amazing - leave your legs somewhere and work your wings! She's a manananana... she's a Tess.

[Belladonna] - A friend and ally met on the train coming into Amityville Academy, Kasumi defended her against accusations that she was one of the students hurting others. Belladonna is one of Kasumi's closest friends, and they share many of the same opinions in several subjects - school, clubs, pets, clothing, style... If anyone was a best ghoulfriend, Belladonna would be it.

[Amjee] - Big, green and brutish, but Kasumi thinks he's so cute! He's very sweet and despite her dislike of men, Amjee proves that some men are worth her time. They were in the Battle of the Bands together under the banner of The Barbed Doctor and the Organic Nation.

[Braum] - Kasumi's secret crush. He's so charming but... he simply doesn't seem to have eyes for her. Kasumi's found out that Belladonna has a sizable crush on him as well, and has resigned herself to the back row. Logically, a Reaper girlfriend would be much more agreeable than a Ghost, right?

[Junko] - An adorable little monster and Japanese as well! Kasumi and Junko share cultures and fashion tips. She's a very sweet and kind individual with a mouth in the back of her head, nicknamed Mistress. They get along famously, though Kasumi worries about the other girl's innocence when around those with ulterior motives.

[Malodore] - A plague doctor with the highest of degrees, he (it, actually, but Kasumi can't add honorifics to non-gendered pronouns) joined the Organic Nation as the quintessential Barbed Doctor in the Battle of the Bands. Cool and calculated, Kasumi has a great degree of respect for the undead doctor and finds him agreeable and interesting.
