Has there ever been anything in an anime that made you cry or that made you happy. You know, like those moments when you want to yell at the character for being retarded or something.

yes, i don't remember what it was called, but one of the main characters died and it made me cry.

I remember crying when I watched Air and Clannad, i think it was near the end, something about fuko.

I think I've gotten emotional over manga, but it's been a while so I really have no idea which series it was.
Recently though I just re-watched Gungrave and that ending still made me cry. It's just so sad when you think about it.
Another one was Angel Beats. I didn't full on cry, but it got me to tear up at the end. It's another really sad one.

Never cried but there have been times when I was on the 'edge of my seat' and there were also moments where I was happy.

Many anime have made me emotional, but i'm not in great contact with all of my emotional spectra, so its most usually laughing.
Berserk; made me absolutely smack-off pissed.
Because of the ending of the series..... i think everyone agree with me there...
Ouran Highschool Host Club; it brought me to the point of tears...
Since i laughed so hard.
Neon Genesis Evangelion; 95-version of the series
it seriously traumatized me, as i watched it when i was eleven years old.. not only that, but i've never been a fan of the christian religion and those stuffs, nor have i of anatomy since it's gross; what did NGE do BUT unclude those things?
i've seen a whole bunch more anime, which have all been good ones- too many to mention really, but i've liked almost all of those i've watched.
