358/2 Days is still optional, but Nomura said Birth by Sleep is as essential to the story as the PS2 games.

I forgot how much I hated Sora's voice until I heard it in that video.
But yeah I really liked BBS actually, it was genuinely "OH GOD MY HEARTSTRINGS" SPOILER Especially with Terra and the Lingering Sentiment

Jesse McCartney is much better voice actor in my opinion.
It's a shame because you know he isn't going to get much more work in the series.
CAN THEY FINISH THE ******** STORY YET NOW?

Yeah, Roxas/Ven did get the better voice actor. Roxas also got the superior character design to Sora (PAAAAANTS!!!).

Also, the next game is going to be the last in the "Xehanort Arc"...God knows what that means.
