What isnt getting a gothic twist these days really?

i'm thinking they're just doing this so that they could crank up the sales...i mean if you have like this horror twist to it...people are most likely to watch it :/ it looks pretty bad.

When I first saw the trailer, I had no idea what the movie was until the title came on the screen. To me, it looked nothing like a version of Red Riding Hood. I also thought the acting seemed poor, though I hate to judge a movie strictly by the short clips presented in a trailer.
I actually want to see this movie and the reason why Little Red Riding Hood is having a twist then the normal story every is used to is because the original story from Brother's Grimm was not all about happy go lucky endings.
