Jackal felt something splash him. He woke to find himself on the shore wave rolling across him. He quickly scrambled to his feet and ran to his bags. He quickly recounted what had just happened and ran in the direction of the downed trees.

Yvonne crawled out of the plane, her backpack miraculously unharmed. She fell to the ground and coughed. What...What happened...? She looked around, seeing pieces of the plane everywhere. "Oh....There was a storm....I think...."

Jackal came across the plane. He saw a girl laying on the ground coughing. Jackal sprinted over to her. "You ok?"

"I don't know", answered Lucy, not being able to open her eyes "What happened ? Where are we?"

Jackal heard another girl answer his question. "I think we are on an island. So far I have found no life, but I haven't explored. As for what happened, the plane crashed. I must have fallen out before you two girls because I ended up on the beach."

Yvonne tried to sit up, but she felt a sharp pain in her stomach. She turned and looked down. A small pin of metal was stuck. It wasn't deep. Just an inch or so. "Crap...." She looked at the boy, blushing despite the condition. "Yeah. I'll....I'll be fine...."

"That looks painful. You want to remove it or should I?" Jackal asked, already ripping strips of cloth to wrap around her stomach if it bleeds.

Yvonne looked at him. "With my luck, I'll...end up pushing it in...." It wasn't painful--as long as she didn't move. Carefully, she reached into her backpack and got out a first aid kit.

"Gauze works too." Jackal said, tucking away the strips of cloth.

Yvonne opened the kit and pulled out roll of bandages. "This should work." She gripped the piece of metal and yanked it out, careful not to scream. She held her hand to the wound to apply pressure. "Mind...wrapping this around me...?"

Jackal nodded and started to wrap her.
