I play a decent variety of games. Platformers, turn-based strategy, RPG, overhead shooter...
Not big on FPS, RTS, sports, or racing, though.
My most recent game is Super Robot Taisen L. It's a turn-based, grid-based strategy game featuring a crossover of many mecha anime.
My favorite genre of all would have to be roguelike. A roguelike is a turn-based, dungeon crawl-style game that usually features randomly generated levels, and no saving. Famous examples include Nethack, Angband, ADOM, and of course, Dungeon Crawl.

Right now i'm playing Pokemon Yellow, but my favorites are Super Mario Sunshine, Halo 3 / Reach, Majora's Mask, Dragon Age and Super Smash Brothers!
