Alright, so a friend of mine asked me to draw her an Ice Princess. Using a different technique than usual, I did so.
Though she doesn't really look like a princess, I was wondering everyone's opinions on the coloring and such? ((I only had two colors to work with, so bear with me)) And yes, she's supposed to be that pale. Also, I was wondering if people think I should shade it, or leave it be?
Other than that, just general opinions and things I can do to improve.

Neck is way to big. (width wise, and probably height wise a bit as well.)
Hair probably needs a bit more volume to it as well. Kind of plastered to the head. I like the color/shading, and the ears look really good to (which is hard for a lot of people)
That's about all the major stuff.

I thought the neck was too big, too, but everyone else INSISTED it was fine. They said any smaller looked deformed and such. stare
And the hair... I don't really know how to add volume to it...

Other than that, just general opinions and things I can do to improve. Her neck is too thick. The ears seem a little small. Her jaw line could be better defined. The hair looks a bit flat. Not bad for a start. Keep practicing, this is a good beginning. 3nodding Color this, it would be cool to see what you come up with for her!

LOL
I thought you meant you were going to do a full color version later. Yes, shading it will give the drawing more depth.

Again the neck is too big. I'm not sure if the chest is deformed or not (due to neck) The Facial protions are a bit outta whack but not bad ( eyes are too wide and too high on face.) You add volume by creating well mass, hair doesn't naturally (unless you havent showered whee ) lay that flat on the head. Takethe base line (Where there hair should begin to grow) where it is. Then depending on volume you want draw another line about lets say two inches above where the skull is then draw what you want your hair to look like after that. Hmm... I'll try to do some redlines for you in a bit, I have too work. hehe keep trying.
