conner was mostly nothing more than a spoiled child to most. but in honesty he hated the pampered life and wanted to be a sailor. one day however his house was raided by pirates and he was kidnapped for ransome. now he is forced to work as a cabin boy. he then meets a girl on the ship and slowly starts to fall for her. after about a month a letter is received that his family will pay the ransome, but will conner even want to leave?
(we can start at around an hour before he is kidnaped)

Lina wasn't supposed to be on the ship. She just kinda... got there. She doesn't really know what she's supposed to do, so she basically just does what people tell her to do and doesn't complain. After all, she likes herself the way she is... alive. She's kind of hard-knock, kind of emotional, kind of everything mixed together. She just got a new assignment: take care of another one of those ransom bunnies. *sigh*... not the best job, but okay.

conner walked out to the edge of his backyard wich was right on the sea "hmmmmm. just three more years and im out of here" he said as his dog james came up to him "hey boy" he said scratching his ears ash dusk fell and the maids lit the outdoor lamps.

It's almost time... Lina thought, staring out across the horizon as the sun began to set. The seagulls swarmed around her head as the ship rocked gently in the wharf. They'll be going ashore soon, so I have to be ready when they get back. Whoever the kid is... I hope he's not a total wimp like last time. What a bother... She put her hand on the hilt of her sword and sighed. How annoying. Another ransom hostage person that she had to deal with.

conner was about to walk inside when he saw a ship comeing in from the horizen. he could only see the basic outline of the boat so he paid it no mind and walked inside to his room. "booooorrrrrreeeeed" he sighed and layed down onto his bed.

"go on, don't get killed now..." a few of the other pirates said sarcastically as they snickoff of the ship.
"don't you worry I won't." Lina replied, obviously sarcastic. "just make sure you don't brong back a fat little spoied brat, okay?"
"will do, squirt." they answered as they darted onto the deck of the harbor.

conner saw lamps on the habor and that they were comeing up the yard "oh s**t pirates" he said as he went to the trunk under his bed and pulled out a rifle and a cutless. the reason his family was rich was because that they worked with the chinese in developing weapons.

what is taking them so long? Line wondered as she meandered around the deck of the ship, every once in a while picking a few things up and putting them in their place. she didn't really know what she was doing or why, but she knew that it had to be done until the guys brought back their bounty, alive or not.
bored... so bored... she thought, swinging herself over the edge of the ship and letting her legs dangle over the edge.

Conner waited as the pirates entered his room before opening fire nailing one man through the head. He then shot out the window and dove through like he had seen in many plays. As he ran acros the yard he aimed to shoot again but was out of ammo "s**t" he said as he threw the rifel to the ground and was then tackled by various men who then proceeded to tie him up. They then made their way back to the ship. As they carried him, Conner looked back to see his parents screaming for him.

Lina sighed as she swept through the room of the hostage again... or what would be his room once the crew brought him on deck. She sighed. Wouldn't it be cool if he weren't scared of us? she wondered. Then maybe I wouldn't have to treat him like a little kid... She wandered back outside and stared out over the hills beyond the clandestine deck. Suddenly, she could see lights turning on in the distance, and the sound of screaming could be heard.

Once they reached the ship the men threw Conner onto the deck and he sat up "what the hell is going on here" he said pissed off.

"Lina, you take over from here." the crew members mumbled, and Lina sighed, looking up from where she was leaning casually against the edge of the ship. She circled the boy, noting things about him. Brown hair, an earring... a totally spoiled little brat. "You're on a ship, smartass." she answered to his ridiculous question. "Duh." She grabbed the rope, hoisting him up with surprising strength. "Come on." she said with a sarcastic smile. "I'll... show you to your room..."

Conner rolled his eyes and followed not having much choice."so suddenly I'm in a hotel" he said still pretty pissed off.

"Sure." Lina replied, pushing him along in front of her roughly. "And the rats change your sheets." They stumbled across the deck to a gutter-like hole, and Lina held the ropes around his arm as she kicked the grated trapdoor to the side.
"Bottoms up..." she muttered under her breath, and kicked Connor in the back of the knees so that he fell forward into the cell. She jumped in after him.

Conner hit the bottom of the cell with a loud cracking noise "owwwwwwww that really hurt." he said as he sat up slowly.
