♡ Eleanor Duke advanced proudly into the magnificent castle along the first years. She smiled freely and nodded to the talking paintings hanging on the walls, then stopped in front of the Great Hall's giant doors. She turned around to face the fellow first years, who seemed even more excited now that they were only a few steps away from Sorting, "Welcome to Hogwarts!" she announced with a bright, warm and welcoming smile, "The start-of-term feast will start soon, but before you attack the banquet like some kind of animals, you will be sorted into your houses. The Sorting is a very important part at Hogwarts. While you are here, your house will be something like your family, someone you can trust and love. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your house dormitory and spend free time in your house common room.
As I might have mentioned before we got here, the four houses are named Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Each house has its own history, Head of House and ghost. While you are at Hogwarts, you accomplishment earn your house points but if you break any rules, don't expect a cake from us, or a present. At the end of the year, the house with the most points will win the House Cup, a great pleasure. And whoever is in Gryffindor, please don't break any rules! "she explained everything careful. Finally, within a swift gesture, she opened the doors of the Great Hall, smiling to the older students that clapped their hands to welcome the newbies properly. She marched to the Staff Table and clapped along as the Sorting began ♡
{TADA! Get ready to be sorted! ^.^ Hope you'll have a nice time here with us! Oh, and one more thing : welcome! -^.^-

Lennox took notice of the girl who stood next to him. His fingers fiddled inside his robes as he fought himself whether or not to talk to her. Holding up a glance, it seemed as if she wasn’t one to converse so he kept his silence. Speaking to her would only make things difficult for him. Trying to think of what to say next, taking too long for an answer and an awkward silence would come between them. He's had enough of those. When the Groundskeeper had decided to make a move, he made sure that he stayed close to her. As if the cold air wasn’t enough, the professor had decided to lead the group towards a massive lake.
He gaped at the boats, puzzlement apparent. Where were they going? Creeping up to the water, a shiver went up his spine. The water was pitch back, emitting a haunting aura. His sweaty palms clenched tightly to the insides of his robes backing away in fear that he might fall in. Forever lost in the darkness with no one to save him. As his eyes searched the water, he saw the reflection of the castle. The boy quickly raises his head to look upon Hogwarts. It was a magnificent building that towered over the entire area. Warm and inviting, as if reliving the times of the medieval. The flickers of fire in the castle gave it a glow so alluring like a fly to bright light. A devils trap in the waiting. Hopefully he wouldn’t end up like the poor fly.
His thing lips opened slightly as he began putting the pieces into the puzzle. Boats. Water. Castle. Then it donned on him. Amidst all his thinking, students began piling the boats, leaving no room for him. In the end, he was forced to enter the boat Professor Eleanor inhabited. A cautious step into boat caused it tip slightly which sent a shock of fear to his brain. Without another moment’s hesitation, Lennox pulls the rest of his body on the wooden raft, sitting on the hard wood in front of Eleanor. It was rather comforting to know that he was with a teacher rather than a bunch of nameless wizards that had no clue how to control their magic. He didn’t either so it was best to put his hands on someone he could trust. A teacher.
He shuffled about the boat, looking for the oars. How else would they get across? God knows what’s in those waters and he was not going to risk his hand by sticking it in the water to move it. One cue, one by one, the boats slink off from the edge of the gravel beach and towards the looming mass that overlooked them. The castle was a sight well to behold. A sight he would have enjoyed more if he didn’t fear of something shooting out of the water to come out and grab him. The boy hugged himself, keeping his hands tucked within his arms. Resting his elbows on his knees, he looked up from his position as they neared the boathouse. The light provided at the front of each boat provided itself nearly useless since they seemed fine to be moving by itself.
When they reached the boathouse, Lennox was one of the first to get off the ruddy boats. It was a lot better taking in the sight in front of him on stable ground. Following the professor once more, they took the long path filled with his fair share of steps towards the Great Hall. The giant door opened to the small flock of first years, Lennox admiring the craftsmanship on the enormous door. He looked to see who had opened it. Perhaps it was like an automatic door? How silly of him. These were wizards he was with. They couldn’t possibly be using something that as invented by muggles to support themselves. Wizards did plenty of hocus pocus from fairy tales. Surely they did plenty more magic than the ones at magic shows or carnivals.
Lennox halted and tried his best to listen to Professor Duke but the inside was just as fascinating as the outside. To his right, led to the staircases. He could have sworn he saw pictures move. One out of the thousands that were placed throughout the entire castle. There wasn’t much time to look any further for the doors to the Great Hall had already opened. He wanted to stay and take a look around but the bodies ushered him forcefully out of his line of interest.

Sato Aiko First Year
Where am I? The Great Hall. What am I doing? Getting in line for Sorting. What am I thinking? Ravenclaw please. Who am I with? With all the other first years.
Aiko saw the boy look at her and she tilted her head, looking back at him. But he said nothing, so she kept her mouth shut, which was alright for her. The tall lady, the Groundskeeper, directed them towards boats sitting in the lady. She followed the woman, then got in the same boat as the quiet boy. She smirked as she watched him search for the oars to maneuver the boat. Brushing a lock of her light brown hair back behind her ear, Aiko nodded towards another boat as it started to move. When their boat began to move, the boy held his knees, looking rather cold. She became idly aware that it was decently chilly out. She was used to the colder weather so it didn't bother her that much. Glancing out of the boat, she took in the water and sighed, glancing at the boy again. The boats pulled into the dock house and the quiet boy scrambled out. She smirked again and got out behind him, following him closely. He seemed to be studying the doors. When the doors opened, she gave him a gentle push. "Don't be scared," she said, the first thing she'd said since her parents left her at the train station in London. Then she filed into the Great Hall along with all the other first years.
