The Caretaker Nizhoni
Nizhoni was born and raised in the Kawani village. She encountered her first Soquili at a very young age and was fascinated with them from the start. As she grew older she became a very valuable asset to the village due to her affinity with the animals. They seemed inclined to listen to her better than most of the other villagers, she assumed this was because of her willingness to let them be themselves most of the time. Eventually her position in the village was secured as the caretaker of the tribe's herds.
She greatly enjoys her position as caretaker and spends most of her days and some of her nights out in the fields with the Soquili she adores. She does not yet have her own Soquili but she is often seen leaving gifts of baskets and fruit for wild Soquili on the outskirts of the village. Perhaps one day a Soquili will find itself attracted to her and wish to remain in the village with her but until that day Nizhoni is content with taking care of the tribe's herds.
