She works as a dancer at Tender Sugar, working off what she considers to be a "debt" to Honey. The man took both her and Isaac in when they first arrived in Giza. How he keeps the bar going is a mystery. He never mentions where he gets the food or drinks from. Often times, he'll randomly vanish for several hours. Fortunately for him, logic kicked in and he abandoned the cult before it could do any real damage. The mark of the cult on his left hand is divided in half by a deep scar. He made the cut himself to show he was no longer affiliated with anything involving Spinalogy. Now he works for his older brother, Honey, at Tender Sugar as the bar tender. She is also an active Spinatologist. Before joining the church, she was the leader of a group called the Guard of Nephthys. The group was entirely dedicated to protecting the people of Giza. Spinalogy has a way of changing people though. Luna was corrupted and lost all interest in the good of the people, instead taking over the city and controlling them in a manner similar to a tyrant. She drank some of the contaminated water by accident, and when she came to, her parents were dead and her brother was nearly dead, their blood on her hands. She somehow managed to nurse her brother back to health, but he didn't remember anything since he was so young. She swore never to let anyone or anything hurt her brother ever again, especially herself, and became a wanderer with only her baby brother and her horse, Wes, for company. By the time they finally reached Giza, they were all nearly starving. Wes had to be mercifully put down. Honey took Jennifer and her brother Riley in, even giving the girl a job.
