I have awesome news guys. I was talking with the tech that does Cowboy's rehab about stages. I mentioned I'd like to do mine there and that I really would like to pursue a career in canine rehabilitation. She said SHE is in charge of the stageirs AND if given the option, (which they haven't been given in the past but my teacher had told me to sell myself and led me to believe they had) that she would definitely pick me. She saaiiddd that she is the only certified tech at this hospital and that the program is growing faster than they expected and they NEED another tech. WHICH, leads me to believe they might actually PAY for me to go to Florida and get certified because that's what they did for her (she mentioned it a while ago when I inquired about the cost of the program.)
You guys, I'm gona be a rehabilitation veterinary technician this is ssooo awesome! (Think sports medicine but for dogs.)

Yeah, that's true. Blue doesn't get many ticks, but he has some fleas despite his flea meds. Wooo!!! Gabby comes to Florida. Maybe we could even get all of the Florida peeps together and go for coffee. Akari lives here, I think Krissim or the other person with the papillon (forget screename) does, and there are a few others.

Whiskey On A Sunday I'm in Florida too! A get together would be awesome! COOL! xd I find out my school schedule for next semester on the 8th, I'm crossing my fingers that the course I have to redo doesn't interfere with any other classes so I can just hurry up and graduate. I'm a bit worried if taking an extra year to graduate will hinder my chances since they need another RVT soon and might not be able to wait that long. If I get my stage this semester, I can start working there next year (provided they don't mind I'm taking one class and haven't officially graduated yet.) And I'm allowed to go for the certification before I graduate. So, the trip to florida would happen in 1-3yrs.
