Creating two new threads within like 5 mins of each other seems somewhat wrong. But what can I say I have so much news!

Firstly, I would like you to meet BABY KITTEHS!

Moma came in for a spay/abortion at my teacher's clinic. But the bratty lil cat gave birth during the night. So the kittens will be staying at my school until they are all old enough to be neutered and then they may stay with us until we can find them homes. However, during the christmas break, for one month, the clinic is closed. Soo, our teacher has asked the class, to foster them during that time.

Just for fun, I passed the idea by my mum. Who sadly I still live with, at least until I graduate and am able to work full time. Now, you may know this already, but, fostering is one of my goals/dreams. It's just something I have always strongly wanted to do. My mother on the other hand, doesn't really believe in it. She seems to think you are either stuck with the animal until it dies because people won't adopt it. Or that you become attached and adopt, which, yes, many people do, but many let them go to be able to continue fostering. BUT, since there is a predetermined time for the foster, she seems to be totally cool with the idea.

So now the only thing left to consider is Mr. Rascal. sweatdrop
He's 13, and, he's never lived with other cats, but based on his history of chasing them, I would assume he's not fond of other cats. Dogs he's fine with, but cats, not a fan. I don't want to stress him out if I don't have to. I also, can't risk a fight between him and the kitten, as they are most likely FIV positive like their mom. So for now, I have decided to wait and see if other students want to foster. There's still plenty of time. If the need is really there, I think I'll step up, and deal with my dilema one step at a time, separate the cats for one month if need be. But if all the kittens are spoken for, then I won't push to bring one home.

P/S I know the Calico is crazy cute, but the black tortie is the one I'd really love to take home.
