Today in History, we watched a movie and I fell asleep. During that time my ankle had fallen asleep and because I was asleep I couldn't move it. Anyway, when I woke up at the end of class I stood up and fell the ground. My ankle is now swollen, stings, and hurts. Because I could barley walk, I just went out the doors and left my bag, Trumpet, and gym clothes in the locker.
Do you girls have any suggestions to make my ankle get better? I have Volleyball on Monday and couch would kill me if I couldn't play.

I'm not really sure of what else to do rather than put an ice pack on it for a few hours, maybe the rest of the day if you feel like it. Perhaps maybe try and keep it elevated as well? That should help at least a little bit.

Hot and cold therapy. 30 minutes with an ice pack, massage, then 30 minutes with a hot pack. This will help it loosen up and heal faster.

Also, when you are massaging it, rub something like Arnica gel into it.
