Last year I was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. I had to go through many sessions of chemotherapy, and finally, tomorrow is my last treatment. I have mixed emotions about this. I've gotten so used to the pain, I nearly forgot that I was going through chemo, yet I'm also very excited. I can finally grow my hair out long again.

Around the same time I was diagnosed with cancer, one of our llamas, Cocoa Cup, had a tumor also. She's still alive today, and is pregnant with a cria. I think that I should follow Cocoa Cup's life (well except I won't have a kid), but I need to move on with my life. I feel like I'm mooching off of my parents' money, lol.

I am probably going to work as a vet or a veterinarian's assistant at Flying Cloud's Animal Hospital. I have my interview in a few weeks, and I'm very excited! Fun fact: they've treated five elephants in the same week.

So, alas, g'bye cancer!

Oh wow! Congratulations! You can finally grow your hair out! That is great news of course! Hopefully the cancer will stay away. And you can life your live again without pain. Will take some time to get used to maybe?
Anyway, goodluck!

CONGRATS!

My mum ended her chemo recently so it is nice to see another survivor!
Good luck on the interview. <3

Thank you everyone. I am at the hospital's Starbucks right now and I have my treatment in an hour. It'll be so weird not going to the hospital all the time, I'm a little scared, but I think that it's time for a positive change.

@ d i m i r h e x: I'm glad that your mom survived. Cancer isn't a fun thing, and it feels so good when you get your last treatment. emotion_bigheart
