Persona: The Other Self (DEAD)

In this world of ours there are many interesting myths, legends and stories. Some are false, some are based on a truth, but very few are actually true. There are a few in particular that seem crazy, but in all truthfulness, are correct. One where in the Darkest Hour, a group of talented people rose up against a threat as grave as the end of all life. Another where demons invaded the world, destroying it in the process, however the survivors awakened a strange power and defeated the monsters. Then there was the most recent one, the details are a little Foggy, but I heard that in a small rural town, a grisly serial murder case was tied to a threat much like the first story I mentioned. Now this is the part where you probably scoff and say I'm full of crap, but like the others, you'll soon realize I was right. You see, what those three stories have in common is the ability possessed by the heroes and some of the villains: Persona. A manifestation of a person's inner self. It gives them the power to fight the monsters, the Shadows. Their numbers have always been few, but I feel this time, there's going to be a much larger amount, what they do with their powers is up to them, but nevertheless, this promises to be an exciting story. Tell me, can you face your Other Self?

The Story Unfolds...

In the dead of night you hear a noise, very odd, almost like a whisper. As you begin to pay more and more attention you can hear it more and more clearly. It whispers stray thoughts, nagging doubts, feelings that you try and cover up, but this voice, it seems to know you. Just when you feel the fear about to explode out of you, the voice fades and you're left alone. You have no idea what just happened and then the next thing you know you hear your alarm ringing. Figuring it was just a nightmare, you go about your day like nothing happened, with the voice at the back of your head, nagging at you all day. You don't know it yet, but the Wheel of Fate has stopped on you and that voice was a foreshadowing of things to come.

....And Your World goes Upside Down.

Unbeknownst to anyone, The Pegasus Conglomerate, a massive corporation that is chiefly known for it's multiple humanitarian enterprises. However, behind the scenes, twelve greedy people seek dominion over the world. After learning of the events in Tatsumi Port Island and the small town of Inaba, they have begun researching the power of Shadows and Persona. In doing this they created what they had hoped was a machine for harnessing the power of Shadows, while they did not create a hidden hour of darkness, like with the Kirijo Group, they did cause a disastrous accident, this ruptured the boundary between our world and the world of Shadows. This rupture manifests itself as The Pandora, an area that comes and goes in random locations and times. The interior reflects the inner world of the person it targets. Pegasus is far from done however, since they've done research into the power of Persona as well they believe they can harness the power of The Pandora to rule the world. Will they succeed, or will The Pandora make Pegasus its next victim?

"PERSONA!"

The power that manifests itself from its user's innermost self. You could say that a Persona is capable of reflecting the character of its user. For those who have encountered The Pandora to survive, they must awaken their power of Persona, which involves facing themselves and the things they try to keep hidden, however, there are two who possess and ability referred to as Wild Card, allowing them to possess and use multiple Persona, freely switching between them, giving them a tremendous edge in battle. However, their true power lies in the bonds they create with others, unlocking different Arcana from which to summon new Persona.

Death is a predator known to all.

There are two kinds of people in this fight: Those who fear and fight death and those who calmly face it and accept it. Know that whether you accept it or not, Death is always circling you.
