I've been working out at least 20 min a day, reduced my calorie intake, and I'm taking 2 supplements that are supposed to aid in weight loss(one of which is Slimquick) and I've gained 4 pounds? I'm really hoping it's just muscle, or pms weight. My question is, does anyone have any tips for fat loss? Other detail to my body issues: In conjunction with my dietary changes, I have started waist training with corsets to help reshape my figure. My figure is messed up to begin with because of a scar I have that runs across my stomach that kinda looks like someone tried to saw me in half. And scar tissue doesn't stretch as much as normal skin, so as I turned into the fatass that I have become, it ruined my figure.

It could just be water weight. Also try cardio, I've heard it burns fat well.

How many calories are you eating per day? If you eat too few, your body will go into starvation mode and you'll actually gain weight. And yes, that is cardio :3

Long story short, I wouldn't worry too much about it; as long as you're being healthy and getting the right kinds of food, you'll lose weight eventually- and if you end up gaining it, it's probably muscle.

Yup, thanks. I still have a long way to go. But I'm taking it step by step. My goal is to lose about 60 pounds by the end of next summer.

I've got a good chunk of it in my belly and thighs. But my thighs have a fair amount of muscle, I do a good amount of walking since I don't have a car. Which makes no sense with my size since it's been so hard to lose weight. And the belly fat is below the scar across my stomach. I never paid the scar mush mind, now it just pisses me off. Better than being dead, though. I wouldn't be alive if I didn't have the surgery that caused it. I had cancer as an infant.

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that. Whenever you gain even the smallest bit of weight, does the scar stretch with it at all?

Aulette Aw, I'm sorry to hear that. Whenever you gain even the smallest bit of weight, does the scar stretch with it at all? not as much as the normal skin around it does. It's caused me to have weird measurements. The area below the scar is larger than where the scar is, so I have a high waist. My hips and belly are at 60 inches right now, my waist were my scar is is at 47 inches
