Sanika's "Home"
Sanika grew up in Copan, a big city (*chokes*) in the Maya Empire. She was the second daughter in an Elite family (she prefers to keep her family name hidden). At a very young age, Sanika was a Seer. She was believed to be blessed by the gods, particularly the night gods as she had her Dreams at night. When she hit puberty, and about to get married, however, Sanika had a dream about her Animal Spirit. Usually, a person's Animal Spirit is corralled, but hers was not... and it was roaming free. For some reason, however, Sanika was not dead or sick (what usually happened when your Animal Spirit escaped). Her parents and betrothed would have brushed it off, only she had the same types of dreams over and over again. She saw, ran, and rode, her Animal Spirit across abundant plains of grass and flowers. In her dreams, Sanika knew it was not in the Empire. She pleaded with her parents to allow her the freedom to find her Animal Spirit.

Eventually, Sanika won her beggings. She wasn't married, but she also was not allowed to leave right away, being too young to be on her own. Living with her parents, Sanika trained and learned how to live in other places. She worked with a translator in the nearest areas to prepare her for her journey North and also Merchants to learn how to survive. Her parents saved up for things that would allow her to trade and she also trained in the military and traditional hunters. Nothing was left to chance.

Sanika's Adventure
Finally, Sanika was deemed ready and put on her path. Saying goodbye to her parents and siblings, she was on her way... and with the message that she was to never return, for she was not welcomed (the results of not getting married). Along her path, Sanika stayed in outskirt areas before totally entering to learn about the new language she was about to need to know, trade, and learn about the area. She continued for about a year and finally ended up in the Kawani tribe area.

Running into some problems, Sanika was always able to overcome them (thieves, raiders, etc). She eventually ran out of goods from home to trade, but also had others. There were some things she was unwilling to trade (clothes articles) and still have. About halfway, Sanika met her first horse. At first, she thought it was her Animal Spirit, but it didn't feel right. She had asked around to find a Soquili (she didn't know the name) and eventually made it to Kawani land. There, she met a Soquili...and although it was not her Animal Spirit, she was excited to at least have found the right creature.

History: Nagual-An was born with her name. She, however, never knew what it meant. Always feeling like something was missing from her soul, Nagual was curious as a filly, always looking into everything and getting into trouble. Despite the emptiness that resided inside her, this deary-colored Soquili grew to a happy and excitable mare. She always looked for the best in things and lived every day like she was content to just be alive.

Things changed when Sanika came. The mare was unsure of herself, for she was pulled towards a human and a life she wanted nothing to do with. To her, Sanika means the end of freedom, and for the longest time avoided the two-legger as much as possible. Eventually, though, they made up and came to terms.

Likes: Homg, Nagual likes a few things. First of all, her love and absolute passion in life is the existance and hunt of the elusive berry. She loves berries among anything else. She also likes everyone, and doesn't HATE anyone. Some do not like her, but her naivety helps her to just 'pass' that little fact over.

Dislikes: There isn't many things she dislikes... but she doesn't like the idea of losing freedom. She may not have wings like her never-met father, but her heart is as free as any Wind Soquili.

History: Tlocatl is Nagual-An's son. He grew up with her and Viola, and although he sticks around the Teepee from time-to-time, he prefers the desert in its entirety. Due to this, he tends to be anti-social and a bit demanding. Tlocatl resents his mother, who is ground-based, and enjoys tormenting her.

Tlocatl met a mare who, if she was a kalona or even a wind, would have been THE mare for her. Wyrsa was everything he could have ever hoped for, except that she was as ground-limited as his pathetic mother. Through encounters, he grew to enjoy her company, even love her (though he would never tell her this, for it would give her power over him).

History: Ruadh Wolfbane goes by Ruadh and Wolfbane. He is the son of Tlocatl and Wyrsa, the latter of whom became fully cursed when he was born. Once he emerged, he is actually another "type" of Kalona than his father and brother due to the abuse he received from his mother while in his basket. While he did not grow up with his mother around, he seems to take a lot from her. Wolfbane does not talk very much, he prefers to let actions speak for themselves. The stallion is a sadist - and he 'beautifies' the world by releasing whatever victims he didn't eat... these victims are mutilated and in torment forever. He not only enjoys dispensing pain, but also likes to be on the receiving end as well (as long as he can still fly and 'teach' others).
