Back in Pokemon Universal League, I started a moderately successful RP I called the Phantasm Event. It took place in Sinnoh and was started before the release of Black and White, meaning it was largely a Gen IV RP.
The plot focused on the return of Cyrus and Team Galactic, it also included Team Rocket's return as their four admins had been dispatched to Sinnoh to assist Team Galactic. What had happened was, some time after his defeat and subsequent imprisonment in the Distortion World, Cyrus somehow makes it back to the Material World and reappears at the Spear Pillar, however, he has found the Azure Flute (an unreleased Mystery Gift that let players go into the Hall of Origin to capture a level 80 Arceus) knowing this, you can probably guess what the dude did next after getting his team back together.
Now we change focus and location and we go to Johto, where we meet a skilled trainer and Elm assistant, Lyle Davis. Soon after Cyrus reappeared, strange shadows began appearing in Johto, specifically near Violet City and so Lyle was sent to check it out. When he gets there, he follows the disturbances to the Ruins of the Alph and when he goes in to investigate, gets transported to the Sinjoh Ruins (A Heart Gold/Soul Silver event that was triggered if the player approached the Lead Scientist with Arceus as their Lead Pokemon. After it was activated, the player would go into the ruins and the Unown would transport him/her to the Sinjoh Ruins were they would bump into Cynthia, who just so happens to be researching the correlation between Arceus and Unown. But this is all story stuff, the end result of the event is that Arceus gives you a level 1 Palkia, Dialga or Giritina each with their respective orbs.)
So Lyle ends up in Sinjoh and he spends some time there, freaked out and so when he stays in the nearby cabin with Cynthia and the Random Hiker, he has a dream about Arceus. He wakes up, hits up the Mistri Stage and goes home, but not before he bonds with Dialga, Deity of Time. Here's the kicker, rather than keep the big lug in a Pokeball like any one of us would do, the Pokemon actually resides inside of his shadow (much like Gengar is prone to do, minus the ill effects and temperature decrease). After telling Elm everything, Lyle decides to head off to Sinnoh. On the way he starts dreaming about Arceus, Dialga and other crap. He soon finds out he can't keep control of the big bad beastie so well, which means Lyle needs to get his hands on the Adamant Orb. While on the boat, he meets the new Sinnoh Champion, Rina Thorn, who has Legendary Shadow Pokemon of her own (Deoxys and Jirachi) After a quick introduction and explanation of what's going on, Rina disappears and Lyle arrives in Canalave City. He checks into a hotel, but when he goes to sleep, he begins to have chronic nightmares, so after some snooping, he decides to hit up Full Moon Island and get a Crescent Wing from Cresselia.
And it is at this point the RP truly begins.

Before I go on with what happened over the course of the RP, allow me to recap and break down some vital things you will need to know.
Shadow Pokemon: They are not necessarily Evil, Corrupted Pokemon that have been exposed to Darkness or whatever. That term, and the term Shadow Trainer, apply to Legendary Pokemon that have partnered up with a Pokemon Trainer and become capable of hiding inside their shadow.
Lyle Davis and Rina Thorn: For the record: I played both of them, they were both my OCs. If it were a game, Lyle would be the protagonist and Rina would be one of the main sources of information and plot development.
Team Rocket: I was never able to get around to WHY the Rockets went to Sinnoh to help Team Galactic, even going as far as to lend them Mewtwo. I had planned on a proper explanation in a later part of the series, but PUL is now defunct and the sequels I had planned fell by the wayside due to lack of any actual interest. I hope to correct this problem in this guild.
Remake?: Since I was able to complete the story to the first Phantasm RP, I will not be remaking it. I feel like it would be a slap to the face to the three who helped me finish it. I will however remake the second Phantasm RP I made (though it does not feature any of the characters from the first RP)
Available Legendaries: Since I began planning the series out in my head, I began to reserve Legendaries for future OCs I plan to make. If this is a problem for you, then feel free to ask me to make that particular Pokemon Available, I'll ask for a good reason of why I should, but It's not like they're on perma-reserve. I may even allow multiples of those Legendaries if I feel they can be of importance to the story as a whole.
Overall Story: A lot of time will pass in accordance to the story, you cannot keep your protagonist the same age for over a decade *cough Ash cough* Eventually the characters will age and probably start families of their own, but they can still play a vital role in the story, just not in the spotlight. There are also two (maybe three) storylines I will switch the focus of the RPs to. We have Lyle's Story, and the story of another, newer Shadow Trainer named Demetri Collins. (Third one will focus on some of Lyle's friends that appear later on in the story, assuming I give them their own RP.)
Teams and Moves: While the battles in the RP tend to be written out, much like the action scenes of books and anime/manga, the movesets of the teams (including abilities) are based on what they are capable of having/learning. I am adamant on this, I do not allow made up moves, abilities and items. Now, say you want a pokemon to know a move it could legally learn in a previous generation, like Machamp knowing Fissure. Well that would be fine, since Fissure was a TM you got in Gen I after beating Giovanni in Viridian Gym and Machamp was capable of learning it. I'm okay with it, but it you want Typhlosion to know Fly or Surf, then you're SOL.
That's pretty much all the background info you'll need to know for when I eventually remake Interlude to a Phantasm

It's my intention to create this thread so that people know what has happened so far in the series, that being said, this is just a reference thread, after that I'm going to make the main thread for Interlude, then the Profile Thread and finally an OOC Thread (though that might be scrapped later on) The profile Skeleton will be in the Profile Thread while everything relevant to the current RP story goes in the main thread and the backstory information (as it develops) will go in here.

Continuing from the hotel in Canalave, Lyle heads out to Full Moon Island to get him a Crescent Wing. Once he arrives he finds the lake and wonders if there is some sort of trick, he is almost immediately approached by a trainer named Max, who is also a Shadow Trainer. The two converse before they are approached by Atrum, an enigmatic man who was living on the island before their arrival. After Dialga attempts to defend itself due to anxiety, Lyle manages to calm it down and is revealed to be the one Max is looking for. Atrum also sees this as a sign of trust and reveals he too is a Shadow Trainer, prompting Cresselia to surface from the bottom of Crescent Moon Lake. Lyle is given the Crescent Wing he needed and yet another Shadow Trainer, Kor (who is in possession of Celebi) appears and offers his help, having witnessed a horrible future where Lyle has failed.
It is after this little bit of social activity that Team Rocket shows up to crash the party. After fighting off a veritable Army of Grunts and a temporary Time Freeze by Lyle, the four are teleported away to the entrance of Eterna Forest.
The trainers enter the forest and soon after find the Old Chateau. While they debate on taking a detour inside, they notice a heavy Team Galactic Presence and figure it'd be worth their time to investigate. (Originally Lyle wanted to go in so he could find Rotom) As they make their way inside, Lyle, Max, Atrum and Kor discover that the situation has turned against the Galactics and that they are now being hunted by hordes of Ghost Pokemon.
Since they're the good guys, the foursome split up to see what's going on. Lyle encounters Galactic Admin Jupiter and Rocket Admin Petrel. Petrel is taken away by the ghosts before Lyle arrives and Jupiter is in a panic. After some pointless questioning, Jupiter falls through a hole in the floor created by the ghosts and soon after Lyle is knocked unconscious and taken away. The same happens to Atrum, Kor and Max (with Max gaining a new Sableye soon before) The culprit behind the abductions is revealed to be a Dusknoir and the grand architect is none other than Rotom. Everyone wakes up and finds themselves in a room similar to the Secret Room in the Team Galactic Building in Eterna City. (This is where players who received the Secret Key Mystery Gift gained access to Rotom's Forms) Rotom sees everyone as a threat and possesses an appliance to end the trainers.
Thankfully at the last minute, Lyle is able to let out his Metagross, which saves them and allows Lyle to capture Rotom. With their leader beaten, the ghosts relent and everyone, with the exception of Teams Galactic and Rocket, are allowed to leave. Once the side-trip is done, the heroes continue on to Eterna City.

This next post will take a break from the story to provide a little insight on our characters. I will not bother stating teams, as those things change over time. I will instead focus on relevant information and interesting facts.
Lyle Davis: At this point, Lyle only has Dialga as his shadow, but later goes on to get Palkia and Giritina. He was born in Cherrygrove to research assistants of Professor Elm and would later go on a journey similar to the protagonists of Generation II (and their remakes) However, Lyle chose to remain as Elm's Field Researcher rather than be a full time trainer. He has traveled all over the world, seeking to understand many of the mysteries in it. He holds Champion titles in many different regions as well as some very expertly raised Pokemon from those regions as well. He is a very curious and honest person, which is part of the reason why he was chosen by the Creation Trio. His most notable Pokemon is his Typhlosion.
Rina Thorn: Champion of the Sinnoh League after Cynthia chose to retire. She was one of the first to catch on to Team Galactic's plans and acted accordingly. She hired Max and asked him to find and assist Lyle in his endeavors, in return, she promised him a Champion Ribbon from the Pokemon League. The story of how she was chosen to receive both Jirachi and Deoxys has never been properly explained and when asked she gets cryptic about it. She comes from an affluent family, but does not keep close ties to her parents. She has an older brother and a younger sister who both live in Unova and keeps in regular contact with them. Her most notable Pokemon is her Salamence.
Kor: While I am at loath to admit it, Kor comes from an alternate universe, the universe of Dragonball Z. The details gleaned from the long backstory basically state that Kor is ridiculously overpowered and that if he were in his own RP, he could defeat anyone at any time for no reason at all. For obvious reasons, he was powered down for the RP. He maintained his Super Saiyan powers, but they remained unused for the duration of the RP (Because it's POKEMON, not DBZ) He initially entered the world in a future where Cyrus had removed Spirit from the world. He encountered Celebi who took him back in time to help Lyle. His most notable Pokemon is his Ditto.
Max: Max is the Shadow Trainer of Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf. He bonded with them shortly after a recent defeat at the hands of Rina. She noticed this and offered him a Champion Ribbon in exchange for his services in helping Lyle and keeping him from going on a rampage. His character falls under the current perception of a comic relief character. He is this in a sense, but he is also an extremely competent Trainer. His most notable Pokemon is his Zangoose.
Atrum: Emotionless, enigmatic, reserved, Atrum is a man with a very dark and tragic history. He grew up much like Cyrus, preferring to read and study in silence. He grew up in Canalave and became Sinnoh Champion for a short time. His longtime rival/enemy is Saturn from Team Galactic, who was unable to defeat Atrum for the longest time. Soon after growing bored with the League, Atrum returned home to Canalave to remain in quiet study. This all changed when he met a young woman named Levis. Soon after their meeting, the two fell in love and Atrum's cold heart began to embrace human emotions. However, between that time and the current point in the RP, something happened to scar Atrum emotionally, and it is all too obvious that it all has something to do with Levis. Atrum's most notable Pokemon are his Black Charizard and the Espeon of Levis.

It is now night time in Eterna City, Lyle heads over to the statue of Palkia and Dialga and sees Rina. They talk more about business and before Lyle has any chance to flirt, Rina brushes him off and leaves. Soon after Lyle spies something shiny in the statue and calls out his Charizard to get him up there. As luck would have it, it's the Adamant Orb that is embedded in the statue. After a minute or so, the orb shakes loose and Lyle has the prize, much to the amazement of the others, who have come out of the Pokemon Center to see what Lyle is doing.
Lyle calls out Dialga and gives it the orb, almost immediately Lyle can feel the inner workings of the Time Deity's mind. Lyle decides to put this new-found cooperation to the test when the old Galactic Building suddenly becomes alive with activity, as the villains detect a particular surge of energy Dialga gives off. Lyle responds with a Roar of Time from Dialga. Sure enough, the enemy forces are decimated and the remaining Grunts flee, leaving the other trainers in awe of Dialga's power, especially Atrum.
The remainder of the night passes without incident and Lyle wakes up in the morning and decides to take an early morning flight around the city. However something strange happens and Lyle suddenly finds himself by the edge of a cliff overlooking Eterna. It doesn't take him long to realize that Palkia is waking up and is just as wild as Dialga, if not more. The situation suddenly becomes more frantic and the Shadow Trainers have to leave quickly before Lyle loses what little control he has over Palkia. Figuring that the Lustrous Orb they're looking for kind of resembles a Pearl, the four set out for Iron Island, though it soon becomes apparent that they are not the only ones heading back to Canalave. After spying an oncoming storm and three Galactic Airships heading for Iron Island, the situation seems grim for Lyle, Max, Kor and Atrum.

Bonding with Legendaries This post will explain some of the mechanics involved when a Legendary Pokemon bonds with a chosen trainer. For the bonding to go past simple friendship, the trainer in question needs the following qualities: 1. Skill - If a trainer is truly skilled in what they do, a Legendary Pokemon may be attracted to them. This does not necessarily mean they need to be skilled battlers, a Trainer's skill is evident by the condition of their Pokemon. However, skill is not the only factor (if it were, a lot of people would have Legendary Pokemon). 2. Personality - The person in question must have an extremely strong personality and will, otherwise the sheer power that some Legendary Pokemon are rumored to possess, will rip them apart from the inside. This is why those of weak mind don't usually meet many rare Pokemon. 3. Other Requirements - Each Legendary Pokemon is unique, some may require certain tasks to be done in order to obtain their services, others may be attracted to a specific aspect of a trainer while some merely are forced into the bond for survival. Once the criteria have been met, the Legendary Pokemon are capable of hiding themselves within the Shadow of their Chosen, but this is not their only method of hiding. Some can become invisible, some disappear to a different location and some can even change into a human form (though this is a very rare event)

Continuing on....
The four find them faced with a difficult task, making it through a harsh storm. By Atrum's calculation's, they'll enter it within half an hour. Just then, Lyle has an idea and calls an old friend of his, soon after, a dark figure emerges from the depths of the ocean, Kyogre is in Sinnoh, and standing on its back are two figures, one of these transforms into Rayquaza while the other hops on and the two ride up to Lyle and the others. Lyle greets the newcomer as his old friend Jasper Cole from Hoenn and the newly appointed Head of the Battle Frontier.
While he knew Jasper had the Weather Trio, he had no idea that he had become a Shadow Trainer. Lyle explains the situation and Jasper agrees to help them through the storm thanks to Rayquaza's ability to null weather. The five trainers power through the storm and reach Iron Island and touch down, Jasper having explained along the way that his Shadows prefer to take a human form and that Groudon was already on its way.
The fivesome find the island virtually abandoned, at least until Grunts start flooding out of the tunnels from the excavations. After that, it's a massive battle to stop the Galactics and Rockets. Meanwhile, Atrum finds himself face-to-face with Saturn. Before he can attack his nemesis however, Saturn tells Atrum that the woman he loves, Levis, is still alive and currently being held prisoner by Team Galactic in Veilstone City. The deal was, that if Atrum joined Team Galactic, they would set Levis free as soon as they had Arceus, this would mean Atrum would have to betray the people he had called his friends/allies.
True love wins out with the phrase "Bros before Hoes" lying dead at its feet. Atrum leaves on an airship with Saturn while everyone else is fighting. Meanwhile, Jasper, Lyle and Groudon (in human form) enter into a cavern in an attempt to locate the Lustrous Orb. They find it, but Palkia appears and it is pissed. So Lyle has to try and fend the Space Deity off while Jasper and Groudon try to get to the Orb. Lyle's plan works brilliantly and soon gains control over Palkia. Using its power to return to the surface, Lyle and Jasper find that most, if not all the enemies have been defeated, while far away in his ship, Saturn orders a barrage of missiles to be fired at the island. Atrum is outraged, but keeps silent. The missiles are fired, but Lyle utilizes the power of his Shadows, in conjunction with Jasper and the others, to redirect and destroy the missiles before it kills them.
Saturn retreats and Rina appears again with Deoxys and Jirachi. She congratulates Lyle but informs him that to get the last orb he needs (to keep Giritina in check) is located in the Distortion World. And there are only two currently known entrances, Spear Pillar and Turnback Cave, the latter of which is only accessible to League Champions. However there is a way around this, as pointed out by Kor and Celebi, Shaymin, a Pokemon that is capable of using Seed Flare (under the right circumstances) to open a portal to the Distortion World. With a plan in mind and little time remaining, the five trainers are about to set off when the Rocket Admins show up again, with an ominous tremor following behind them.

The shaking turns out to be that of Regirock, Regice, Registeel and their master, Regigigas. Somehow the Rockets were able to gather all four golems and enhance their powers through special devices that also enslaved them. Even with all the powers of their shadows, the trainers are unable to fend off the Regis, when their overwhelming power becomes apparent through a combined Hyper Beam attack.
Knowing that the only way for everyone to escape is if someone stays behind to distract the four Rocket Admins (Archer, Arianna, Proton and Petrel) Rina wishes for Jirachi to take Lyle and the others to the entrance of the Pokemon League. With a sad smile, Rina bids goodbye to the others and turns to face the Rockets. She calls out Deoxys and the rest of her Pokemon and goes on the offensive, knowing it's impossible to win.
Meanwhile, Lyle and the others appear at Victory Road's exit and Lyle slams his fist to the ground in anger. The others console him and Jasper and Kor remind him that there is still a job that needs to be done, on that note, the two decide to go to Veilstone and see what they can dig up on Team Galactic.
Another transition takes us to Galactic Veilstone HQ where Saturn is talking to Cyrus on Mt. Coronet. He introduces Atrum to the Galactic Commander and Atrum soon tells Cyrus of the other entrance into the Distortion World through Turnback Cave. Since Atrum was a Sinnoh Champion, he would have access to Spring Path and Sendoff Spring, Cyrus decides to send him, and the other Galactic Commanders to guard the entrance while Atrum will head into the Distortion World proper and collect the Griseous Orb, for this, he is given Mewtwo and the Galactics mobilize.
Yet another shift in perspective brings us back to Kor and Jasper, who arrive in Veilstone to find it devoid of any Galactic presence. The two walk into the building unopposed and Jasper begins to hack into the database while simultaneously sending a message to the International Police, notifying them of the situation. With their work done, Jasper and Kor head off to meet up with Lyle and Max. Jasper phones Lyle and is informed of what transpired since his departure. Since Route 224 would be inaccessible to someone who had not beaten the league, Lyle tried to get the man in front of the entrance to move, but he refused to listen, only after Giritina began to enter the world through Lyle's shadow did the man leave. After that it was a quick run through the cave and outside to the white stone. Soon after Seabreak Path appears and the Shadows Trainers rush down to Flower Paradise, finding it full of Shaymin (plural)

After a small exchange with the Shaymin Leader, Giritina makes another appearance, this time Shaymin uses Seed Flare to open a portal to Sendoff Spring and the four Shadow Trainers run through.
What awaits them is a rather unpleasant situation, best summed up with the phrase "Son of a b**ch!" as a massive force of Grunts awaits them. A lengthy battle ensues where most of the Galactic Commanders retreat due to the overwhelming power of the Shadow Pokemon. Just as it seems victory is apparent, a loud boom echoes out from the cave entrance. It soon becomes apparent that the cave was rigged with explosives and set to detonate. Lyle falls to his knees in despair.
In the meantime, Atrum enters the Distortion World and begins his search for the Griseous Orb. He soon finds it and after an near fall, he claims it, not realizing what happens next. Lyle goes berserk and enters the Distortion World through Giritina. Lyle corners Atrum after defeating his Grunt Squad and the two begin fighting, Giritina, Plakia and Dialga all emerge in the Distortion World while Lyle fights Atrum hand-to-hand. Eventually the fight proves too much for Atrum, even with the power of Mewtwo. He is eventually rejected from the Distortion World while Lyle calms down and claims the Griseous Orb. While the rest of his friends decide to head for Coronet, Lyle takes the direct route and gets there first.

Lyle makes it to the Spear Pillar through a creepy hole in the ground leading to and from a parallel dimension. Now he finds himself faced with the full force of both Teams Rocket and Galactic. Before any fighting can begin. Cyrus makes a declaration, that he will throw Rina off Mt. Coronet unless Lyle surrenders.
Lyle is sorely tempted, but stands his ground, watching in horror as Rina is thrown off, caught before she can go splat thanks to Jasper. Meanwhile, everyone else shows up and a big freaking brawl starts. Max uses the power of Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf to turn the remaining Grunts into vegetables, leaving the Shadow Trainers to face off against the Admins.
Lyle in the meantime races to catch up to Cyrus, who has started running up to the Hall of Origin. Lyle is about to reach him when a Dark Pulse from Darkrai knocks Lyle off the stairs, he's saved by another old friend from Hoenn, Joshua, the man who bred Lyle's Charizard. And it appears Joshua has friends of his own, the Eon Duo Latios and Latias. Lyle rushes up the stairs to face Cyrus while everyone else takes on the admins. It is at this time, Saturn decides to reveal to Atrum that Levis, Atrum's soulmate, has been dead for years now, and that he had betrayed everyone for a dead chick.
Now if you think about it, I'll bet you can probably hazard a guess as to how pissed off Atrum is. (like a 20 on a scale of 1 to 10) This culminates in Darkrai acting on Atrum's pure, dark rage and blasting Saturn off the mountain. Meanwhile, Rina has her revenge on the Rocket Admins thanks to Joshua and everyone subdues their remaining foes. Lyle however, reaches the top of the Hall of Origin to find a horrendous sight, Cyrus now has Arceus under his control. Lyle attempts to battle the man, but it soon becomes apparent that so long as he holds the Azure Flute, he is virtually unstoppable, so Lyle does the only thing he can do: trap himself and Cyrus in the Distortion World while Arceus slowly begins to create Cyrus' perfect world.

It's an epic, no-holds-barred fight inside the Distortion World between Lyle and Cyrus. The two battle it out, switching between and calling out multiple Pokemon to fight. Eventually, through a combination of skill, tactics and sheer blind luck, Lyle manages to win against Cyrus, defeating him, but there is one last problem: Arceus. To stop it, Lyle needs to grab the Azure Flute, which is back in the Material World, at the epicenter of Cyrus' world without spirit. Meanwhile, Max, Kor and Atrum use Safeguard in an attempt to go back into the Dark Zone (that's what I'm calling it so be quiet you.) to help Lyle. Lyle emerges, but loses what is essentially his soul and it is only thanks to Max, Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf, that he snaps out of it and reverses the changes, saving the world and getting an awesome trinket for his prize. Soon after, most of the Galactic and Rocket forces are arrested by the International Police. Jasper and Joshua decide to head back to Hoenn, where Jasper promised to show the Eon Breeder around the Battle Factory. Rina hands Max his Champion Ribbon while Atrum flies back to Full Moon Island to be alone. Lyle and Kor party it up that night and time passes. Months later word reaches Rina about a new challenger arriving at the League that day and that she should get ready for a possible challenge. As it turns out, the challenger is Lyle, having toured around Sinnoh for a shot at the League Title. The two decide not to fight with their Shadows, treating it like an ordinary League Challenge, but with one condition, should Lyle win, Rina would have to go on a date with him and like it. Rina sighs and agrees and the two begin battling. A long battle ensues where neither Trainer has the upper hand for long. Finally it's down to their signature Pokemon, Lyle's Typhlosion and Rina's Salamence. The two battle with everything they have and Lyle barely manages a last minute win with a gamble on his Typhlosion's Blast Burn. Rina is shocked for a second and then smiles. Without a word she enters Lyle into the Hall of Fame and leaves, making Lyle wonder what's up with her. Meanwhile, back on Full Moon Island, Atrum finishes making a grave for Levis when he is approached by his nemesis, Saturn. Arceus forbid he just die like anyone else would after taking a Dark Pulse to the chest and getting launched off a bigass mountain. The two fight again with Atrum defeating Saturn, but taking a Poison Jab to the chest in exchange. So he falls to the ground and loses consciousness, though soon after he is helped by both Lyle and Kor, with the former leaving early to go back to Johto. At this point, he is hopeful that Atrum will recover. Months fly by and Lyle is back home in Johto, telling Professor Elm and his parents what happened while he was Sinnoh. Right after he finishes the story, Elm gets an E-mail from Professor Juniper in Unova, asking if Lyle could come and help her on her research into the Origin of Pokemon. A ship ticket arrives and Lyle decides to head off to Unova for an unknown period of time. Minutes after he leaves, a rather flustered Rina runs in and asks if Lyle is there. After hearing about his trip, she flies as fast as she can to Olivine to try and stop him from leaving. She frantically runs out onto the dock in time to see a Typhlosion getting on the boat. Rina feels like she just watched someone get hit by a bus and is on the verge of ACTUALLY CRYING (I know right, shocking) when she feels a tap on her shoulder. She turns around and sees Lyle and punches him for making her think he left already. Lyle explains that after he got on the boat, he noticed her run out onto the dock to try and stop him, so he decided to cheat a little, go back in time and give his ticket to someone else, who happened to have a Typhlosion of his own. Rina sighs and apologizes, for hitting him and for not keeping in touch, stating that life had just decided to get busy for her and she had been swamped with dealing with all the fallout from Cyrus' crazy stunt. She offers to go on that date Lyle wanted to which he sheepishly asks if sitting on the Pokemon Center roof and eating sandwiches is okay, since he hadn't thought to bring any money with him on the boat ride to Unova. And so the story ends with the new couple sitting on the roof of the Olivine Pokemon Center, eating sandwiches and watching the sunset. THE END Well for right now at least.
