This is mostly for any authors/aspiring authors who may be lurking about the guild.

1. You make a family tree for him/her/them (if applicable)
2. You start trying to pick out (a) theme song(s) for him/her/them
3. You start trying to pick out (a) voice actor(s) for him/her/them
4. You try to design outfits for every occasion for him/her/them
5. People ask you 'you know that they're not real, right?'

Feel free to add to this list, if you can think of anything. xD

6. You start asking yourself 'what would him/her/them do in this situation?'
7. You have a facebook account for him/her/them.

Been there, done all of that.

8. You not only make a family tree, but you feel that it is necessarily diagram out their circles of friends, and how the circles intermingle or
don't.

1) When your characters have middle names, blood types, favourite colours, favourite words, etc etc without being important to the story.

2) When everything in your sketchbook (if you draw like I do) is a character from a past story, or one you plan on making.

3) When you're able to use your characters to go through the alphabet by the first letter of their first name at least twice.

4) When you would consider cosplaying at one of your characters, or already have.

You flip out whenever you run into someone that looks like them.

You come up with compatibility charts for ALL of your characters and consider which traits works best with each other.

You then go on to determine what their future children will look like. If they have any.

When you know more about your characters than you do about people in real life.

I swear I write all sorts of details and profiles down, they all seem to have their own wardrobe, hair styles, hobbies, etc... sweatdrop
