[1v1] Old rivalries never die (Titus vs Shun)

The next morning, Shun was not much happier than how he was feeling the previous night. Titus's words had managed to sting quite a bit.. probably because he knew them to be true. It didn't stop him from wanting to beat him down, though.

And so he waited in the gym, crouched down. He was working on clearing his mind at the moment; meditating. No, he did not want to let rage cloud his thoughts while he fought Titus. The Reaper knew better than to underestimate anyone. If he could help it, he was going to go all out against the other boy. And if he was going to do that, he wanted to make sure he was all there mentally.

It had been awhile since he last fought the nightmare demon. But regardless, some things never changed.

The other never cut with the s**t talk for one thing.  

[Inu-Mitsu]

Titus was fashionably late but still swung the door open on the gym like he owned the place. The grin was already in place as he strolled in taking a look around the gym room before settling his gaze on Shun.

"So good you could make it." No doubt that was probably Shun's line but Titus always liked the get the first word in. "Ready to show me how you can botch this up too?"

((I didn't know if you wanted me to roll initiative so I did but technically with Shun being a higher year and having gone through Thunder road I would think he could go first so I will leave it up to you whether you want to roll initiative as well or if you want to go ahead and roll an attack.))

The door swung open rather loudly, signalling Titus's arrival rather obviously. Opening his eyes, Shun saw the guy strutting on in. His expression soon narrowed, but he didn't say anything. Instead, he just stood up and summoned his daggers on the get go. Once they were in hand, he crouched down to get into stance.

Shun took in another deep breath before exhaling slowly to clear out the rage he had been feeling. No. He wouldn't let Titus get to him here. The demon was there before him, and right now it was his objective to take him down. Not wasting any more time to toss out a taunt or anything like that, he began to move. Quickly. Very quickly.

Right now, he was aiming to see if he could flank the demon, but made no offensive strike just yet. No. He was just building up his speed.

[Inu-Mitsu]

No words huh? Trying to be as silent as always. That was fine. Titus liked the carry the conversation. "What's the matter, Reaper? Cat got your tongue? Or should I say wolf?" He hadn't missed the little lycan ghoul and him spending so much time together. Even he wasn't completely daft and what an interest bit of information it was.

"I'm sure your father would love her." He lashed out as Shun came to pass him, clawed hands swiping at his arm. The demon only managed a small hit bit it was more of a warning shot.

Shun had just about been to move in for a strike. However, Titus's comments had caused him to waver a bit. Missing his mark, he quickly got out of the way to just take a grazing blow from the demon. He knew what he was talking about. It was pretty obvious for him. And for a moment, he feared that his father might know of what was going on there too. No. Couldn't be. Otherwise he would have been confronted about it by now.

"I don't know what you're talking about," he said quietly.

"Oh really, I suppose its just one sided then. I've peeked into her dreams. She seems quite taken with you." Titus swiped again but missed. He was really hoping to keep the reaper off focus by this conversation. "She also seems rather afraid to lose you."

Shun's eyes widened for a moment. s**t. So Titus had been invading her dreams. He was going to have to really urge Mitsu to work at her lucid dreaming skills. At the same time, this news kind of angered him. If he was in her head, most likely it meant that he was tormenting her in her sleep too.

Narrowing his eyes once more, he simply vanished before reappearing at numerous angles around his opponent. With each appearance, he struck out at the guy with his blades.

He was distracted though, and didn't nail the other as hard as he should have.

"Got nothing to say, Soul Herder?" Titus mused though was a little caught off guard by Shun's sudden disappearance. Damn this move. Titus had nearly forgotten and it was because of that he took a few hits before he was able to move back and out of the way.

To counter the demon propelled forward, using his wings to take flight before aiming a punch toward Shun's chest.

Letting out a soft grunt as he took the punch, Shun decided for the time being, to still say nothing. No. He needed to focus on taking down Titus. He can offer a few words at the end. This was the current gameplan of the Reaper. Shifting to the side, he lashed out with his left dagger to try and cut into the demon's torso. Aside from beating him down, he also wanted to make him bleed.

Titus attempted to move and block but ended up taking the full force of the dagger across his middle. The blade cut deep slicing through his jacket and shirt but thankfully with the darker clothing the blood was hard to see. The pain was hard to see on the demon's face but the small twitch in his eye was enough to let it be known it was there.

"Good to know you can wield thossse two butter knivesss you got." Titus hissed almost like a snake, his teeth bared as if he were preparing to bite.

While he couldn't see it on Titus himself, Shun caught a glimpse of red along the edge of his dagger. A small bit of satisfaction. But, now wasn't the time to be thinking about that sort of thing. He simply let out a huff as his blades were called butter knives.

Considering how he managed to cut him pretty well, the nightmare demon essentially just called himself butter by doing so. And if the reaper could help it, he'd be smearing him across the ground.

Stepping forth, he kicked out at Titus's leg for now.

Titus managed to jump back in time to avoid to kick to the legs but barely managed to catch his balance. He only just managed to get upright again and fall back into stance. It didn't really give him an opportunity to lash out again. If he did it would no doubt be sloppy. The demon could also feel his shirt sticking to him, no doubt from the blood. Hopefully he wouldn't bleed out before the stupid fight was over.

Waiting for a moment, it seemed that Titus was biding his time now. The Nightmare demon wasn't making any moves against him. Narrowing his eyes, Shun darted at the demon, hoping to keep on the pressure. He slashed out for Titus's face this time around, getting ready to try and follow up with another strike.

As soon as Shun drew close Titus threw a punch to his face before drawing back out of the way of the reaper's strike. The hit he made wasn't as solid as it could have been but he was hoping to avoid those blades. They left a terrible sting.
