In this world of Pokemon, there are no regions. Well, not really. There are groups of Pokemon, however, that appear on-and-off. One day, you may run into Pokemon from the Sinnoh group, other days from the Kanto group. No one's quite sure how it works (everyone says it's the doing of Arceus), but it makes for an interesting journey.
