In high school, most people would assume certain people will fall for certain others. The football players will date the cheerleader, the preppy girls will flirt and get the popular and suave guy, and then the nerds will hide away, only a few able to date with success. However, there are very few acceptances where the complete opposite may happen!
Nicholas is the prime definition of Nerd. He loves video games, loves anime, collects anime figures as well as manga, has imported anime posters everywhere in his room, wears and makes cosplay, wears braces, has glasses, and is the head of the anime club. He never dreamed of having a girlfriend besides some anime crushes he's had here and there.
Well... not only does someone have a crush on him... but that girl happens to be one of the most popular girls in school!! Almost every jock has asked her out, even girl have! But, each time they do, she just says no and apologizes. Her eyes were set on Nick, even if he doesn't know it yet.

Grade: Junior (skipped a grade)
Personality: Quiet at first, but more talking once he opens up to someone, especially when it deals with anime. He's shy, but he tries to hide it with his quirky randomness.
Bio: Ever since he picked up his first manga at the age of four, Nick was hooked into anime. He stared off playing Pokemon, then collected the manga, and then the anime. After that he started exploring more and more into anime, having his likes, dislikes, and sheer admiration for the art form of anime. He started to venture into others forms of nerdness such as playing the Pokemon Card game and Magic the Gathering. The only thing he doesn't play is DnD however, one of the nerdiest games ever made. He loves going to conventions and has a few costumes in his closet that he actually made himself! At school he's the President of the Anime Club and does his best to keep everyone happy and having fun with different types of anime and games to play and see. With such a life that he enjoys, he's never actually thought of having a relationship with someone ever!
Likes: Anime (favorite Baccano), Video Games (Favorite Pokemon), Manga (Favorite One Piece), drawing, cosplay, green tea.
Dislikes: Coffee, huge birds, sports, large people (he's kinda small being young), really hot weather, mushrooms.

Personality: Alexa is what most people would call two-faced, whenever she is with her friends or at school, she's mean, controlling and conceited. but whenever she's away from them, she is kind, caring and selfless
Bio: if anyone were to describe Alexa's life in one word, most would say blessed. her family is super rich, so she has never gone without. good grades and amazing beauty, most people think she's a spoiled brat. but in reality she's a closet nerd. she's a complete otaku with a secret room for all her collectables and posters. She often sneaks out to go to conventions wearing her own hand-made costumes

It was lunch time at school. Nicholas was with his group of nerd friends doing what they always do during lunch, play Pokemon. Today they were playing the card game and Nicholas was in the lead with only two more prizes to take. "Let's see... I'll place a grass energy on my Accelgor and take out your Zekrom with the help of a plus power." He said, smiling as he takes another prize. He worked hard to make his deck and has a record so far of 15 wins and 2 loses.

it was like any other day at lunch, alexandra sat with her friends while they gossiped about everyone they knew. Most of the time she would space out and ignore what they said, thinking about him. Alexa hadn't told anyone about her crush, Mainly because of who the crush was. Nicholas lingston, public nerd number one. Now she wasn't the one to first call him that, she never would in fact, it was her "friends" that did she, as usual, just placed along. As always she would look at him when her friends were too busy in the ir own world of gossip and insults to any one Who weren't like them.

"Alright.... I'm going to switch into my Jumpluff, use a catcher to bring in your benched Electrik, and I'll take it out with a Mass Attack. That gets me my last prize card and also the game." Nicholas said with a smile, shaking his opponents hand. "You really had me going with your Zekrom. I really enjoyed that match. Let's play again sometime." He said to her friend, who smiled and agreed. "Hey Nick!" Called out one of his best friends, a tall long haired blond guy who wore glasses and had some slight acne problem. "I got five new Next Destinies packs!" He said with excitement. "You did? Great! Let's see what you'll pull! Maybe you can finally get that Mewtwo EX." Nick said with just as much excitement.

Alexa wasn't paying much attention to her friends at that point, she had no reason to. after a moment Alexa felt a nudge at her side, bringing her attention back to her friends. they had begun talking about their crushes, the one subject she truly hated. the girl next to her asked"hey Alexa, who are you crushing on?". Ugh, she really didn't want to answer, but they would definitely not leave her alone when she turned down every boy that had ever asked her out

(Oh okay. It's okay.)
"Hey Nick!" Someone called, one of his friends getting closer to their table. He sounded scared about something. "What's wrong? What is it?" A lot of attention was put on their group because of his friends scared behavior. "A-are things... in the club room... It's been thrashed!" Everyone at the table jumped up from their seats, shocked and also scared. "W-what! Damage report man! What was lost!?" Tears started to fall down his cheek. "Cheri's collection of Naruto figurines were stolen, Chris' Magic cards that were in the chest were torn to shreds... my anime chess set was thrown down and cracked, most of the pieces taken... but you... your hand made Link as well as your three Luffy cosplays were destroyed..." Nicholas sat down in disbelief, not wanting to believe what was said. He saw how the others were feeling. Chris and Cheri were in shock and tearing up. "That deck costed me almost a hundred bucks to make..." He uttered his head on the table now. Cheri was crying a lot harder than the others. "Those figurines are priceless! I was going to take them back home today after the meeting!" She's been collecting since the series was started. The Table of Nerds all of sudden became the Table of Depression.

Alexa looked around for a distraction when she saw them. "hey look, the nerds are crying" she cried out to her friends, pointing in their direction. she sighed out of relief as her friends turned to see the pathetic spectacle. Alexa was scanning the nerds' crying faces, when she saw Nicholas. then all relief that she had, drained out of her as she gazed at his very depressed face. while she just sat there the other kids at her table began laughing and jeering at the nerds.

(I'm really sorry for not posting!)
The laughter... Of course the most popular girl in school had to call up on the nerds, making so many laugh at them in their time of utter sadness. Nicholas didn't look up, didn't care, and really didn't mind, just like the rest of them. They all knew they were mostly shut outs from the rest because of their hobbies and interests. He knew it all too well. "Come on... Let's go see if we can at least try to clean up the club room before lunch is over..." He said to his nerdy friends. They nodded slowly and left the lunchroom, filled with gloom.
