[FIELD CLASS] Amityville Welcome Wagon (END! HW P. 11!)

Once again, some rumpled posters had found their way onto the noticeboards in every dormitory common area, seemingly appearing out of nowhere in the night (though the particularly observant might have spotted a few gnomes sneaking around). They were plastered on top of any previous notices and posters, and looked something like this...

AMITYVILLE WELCOME WAGON
with absolutely no fighting practice of any kind

Due to super-sad reasons our friends the Horsemen have arrived in Halloween Town!! Let's be good neighbors and welcome them in Amityville style!! Come to the school auditorium on Spiderday and help put together some super-welcoming fruit baskets!! Please note that there will be no fighting practice of any kind, this is a peaceful exercise and not suspicious at all.

See you there!!!!

... You get the feeling that there might be some fighting practice involved, somehow.

Those who choose to come to the auditorium find long tables and folding chairs set up on one side of the room, though most of the room is conspicuously empty of all furniture. There are baskets and fruit piled on the long tables, though a line of gnomes wearing sunglasses discourage anyone from actually going for the welcome wagon supplies quite yet.

One table has a sign-up list on it. You should probably put your name down.

- There is no enrollment limit for this class; students of all years are welcome.
- Sign ups will end at 11:00 am PST on Spiderday, 5/19. No latecomers - if you want to be part of the class, sign up before the class closes!
- You are welcome to RP with others while you wait, but you may not grab any of the fruit or baskets - the gnomes will stop you if you try.))

Danny was more than willing to sign up for the classes. She'd gotten over her insanity, and was finally ready to move on with the horsemen. Besides, having their homes exploded and destroyed? That was so sad. Even Danny had a moment or two of compassion when she could comprehend it.

Besides, all things considered, all she read on the poster was "horsemen" "fruit" and "fighting." Sounded like a pretty good time.

So there she was, signing her name on the list. Save ALL the ponies time.

Angenora felt this would be the best time to help the lost clan members feel at home. She loved every single one of their traditions, but couldn't understand some of them. She didn't care as long as she welcomed them 'home'.

Meixiang had felt bad about the whole Horsemen ordeal. The whole experience at the end of the class trip had left a small, bitter taste in her mouth.

When she saw the flyers she hopped on the welcome wagon train as fast as she could. While she couldn't give them their home back perhaps a lovely fruit basket would brighten one of their days!

The Horsemen were now living in Halloween and it would be best to make them feel as welcome as possible.

Welcoming baskets were her thing. And welcoming baskets for those poor, dear Horseman? Yes please!
The suspicious part of definitely, 100% not fighting didn't even bother Belladonna. She still scrawled her name on the paper in a curling hand.

Though she wanted to go inspect the fruit herself (just fruit? Nothing more substantial? At least a candy bar or two would have been nice), Belladonna made sure not to anger the gnomes and kept her distance. A few names she knew, one slightly well but... Er.... It had been a while and Belladonna was not sure if she was ready to talk to all her former friends.

Zurine had seen the posters all over the campus and while she was just a touch suspicious (see she was learning how it went around here) she none the less had decided to come and check things out. Besides doing something nice for the Horsemen seemed like a good idea..neighborly and all.

It wasn't often Jericho wandered out of his room as of late. But, he was trying to make it seem like he hadn't completely vanished off of the map. He didn't want people to wonder where he was and all. As usual though, when he was out, he donned a rather large cloak to cover up his wings.

While he was out, he noticed some notices and fliers regarding a sort of welcoming gift for the horsemen. What had happened with them was completely tragic and well... with his new found hermit habits, he hadn't really done anything to check up on them or anything like that. Perhaps this would be good. Hopefully, there won't be too many people around too. There was also the note of no fighting.

No fighting was good.

He remembered the doctor's warning.

And so he made his way to the auditorium, noticing many baskets and piles of fruit within. There were also a handful of others here already. Taking in a deep breath, he wrote his name on the sign up sheet, then moved into the room, avoiding most of the others for the time being. Lay low. Gotta lay low.

Shehk had been trying to be involved in everything that was happening as of late. Not for any reason outside of keeping herself busy and keeping her mind off of things, and this was going to be an opportunity to at least let the students show their support for the clans.

Which was what they needed on top of everything else that was already happening to them. Hadn't they been scrounging around the areas lately for various things? They could have probably used a lot of things. Fruit baskets weren't on the top of her list of things to get to them, but..

just showing her face around would be enough, she felt. Maybe she'd get a chance to run into Medea while they were there.

Either way, Shehk made a point to write her name down on the list of those who would be going, pausing when she saw the name that was above hers on that list before looking over the room. Jericho was out and about? That was good progress.

Willow had seen the flier and well. Fighting practice or no fighting practice the gift basket idea was a really good thought. Willow's tail twitched as she headed to the classroom trying not to fiddle with the plants on her hip.

She was still getting use to them, and in the fact of the matter the byakko felt a little strange having to adjust her wardrobe to keep from smushing the poor plants.

Willow was sort of hoping to run into some of the horsemen she knew.

Lifting her head up slightly to inspect the fliers Darcy wondered who the Horsemen where. Pity she had been wandering alone for some time now that she wasn't up to current events. Welcoming in a whole new set of these so called clan members and barely knowing any students currently in Amityville.

Best way to learn more information about these new comers and to socialize with her classmates would be to sign up. Fighting? This was her first class, she hoped it was a joke. Violence on Darcy's first gathering might attract some unwanted attention. Not thinking too much about it she gracefully signed her name on the sheet. Noticing a familiar name on the list made her hug her head tightly and smile. Might not be too too bad is Mei is signing up.

He'd seen food. It was right in front of him on a piece of paper, so automatically the punk boil had ripped it off the wall, glanced at the classroom listed, and raced to it--intent on getting some before it was all gone. It was questionable whether he had read the rest of the page--no, there was no question about it. The newly hob-ified punk boil hadn't read a single word.

"Free food?" he asked as he stepped in, his eyes going right past Danny--his best friend--to the food on the table. He even took one step forward before he noticed the sunglass wearing gnomes. Then he pouted and pulled up the sheet of paper again. "Oh," he said. "Well... damn."

Reluctantly, since he wasn't such an a** that he wouldn't help out with the horseman thing, he headed for the sign up sheet and jotted down his name. He hoped they were lying about the no fighting thing.

"De-fin-it-e-ly Won't Be Fighting," Gilly read the poster posted in the school hallway. "That sounds like a nice break from the last month." Gilly mumbled to herself as she contemplated signing up for the class. She had been spending most of her days in her washroom or the pipes underneath the school and was starting to feel a little restless and wanting to socialize a bit.

She reached into her pocket for a pen, and found an orange crayon. She scribbled her name down on the sheet.
