	((backdated liek whoa)) Legs had heard a certain dragon boil had gone up a level recently. And by heard, the pair of limbs meant learned from when she and Tess merged in an attempt to remain current with the events of each other's lives. Sure it got confusing at times, remembering how they were in two places at once but it was something a manananggal eventually became accustomed to. Legs had also learned that Tess was enjoying regular flights with said dragon boil. If the lower half had a mouth, she would have curled hers in disdain. Sheridan was too sensitive for her taste and lacked a certain level of sophistication that was inherent in a certain imp boil. That Tess liked Sheridan and dislike TG was more reason for Legs to call both her upper half and the celestial dragon back to the Gym. With her heel, Legs carved into the ground a message her upper half grudging relayed. Amon Larethian Text from Tess Rematch~?

	The dragon paused in his steps as he walked across the school grounds, the twitching of his tail shifting as he reached for the phone in his pocket. The smile at finding the text from Tess quickly faded, his brow furrowing in a frown as he read the message. Rematch? Rematch at what? Truth be told, he had all but forgotten about their previous battle, the thoughts of such having been long since pushed out of his mind by other matters, matters such as a peaceful flight through a star lite sky with a good friend and companion. Hmm...what could the text have meant? Did she want to race again? Huni Pi Text from Sheridan: What do you mean?

	Maritess had to keep herself from giggling at the dragon boil's response. She already knew Legs' opinion of the boil was not exactly high (which was a good thing as far as the winged ghoul was concerned) but it was making merging difficult to have such polar opinions all the time. Besides, knowledge would be shared afterwards anyway so there was no harm in a little information hoarding. The lower half tapped her foot impatiently, jutting her hip as if to demand that Tess tells her what was happening. Legs watched her upper half key in a hasty response. 	Oh! oh... The furrow of his brow deepened, he wasn't sure he liked the idea of battling Tess, spar, rematch or otherwise. Why he felt that he couldn't have said, it wasn't as if he had any reservations about battling friends, it was a good way to train and grow stronger. But... He shook his head, sending a text back before turning down the hall on his way to meet Tess at the gym. Hmm...he had the sneaking suspicion that Legs may have been behind this... 	The ghoul smiled reluctantly at the message displayed on her phone then turned to her lower half, "You'll be getting what you want but don't expect me to get involved. I'd say our proximity is close enough that you'll be able to spar as if we were whole," Tess shrugged. What?! Tess wasn't going to spar with her!? Legs' mouth would have dropped open if she had one. Suddenly she wanted to back out but the adamant look on her upper half's face indicated there was no way or time for her to get out of this mess. Amon Larethian

	By the time he reached the gym, Sheridan did not feel any better about the idea of battling Tess, even if it was only a spar and even if it was technically training. This was Tess, she was his friend, or maybe she was more than that, he was supposed to protect her, not fight her. (The thought that training in combat so that she could better fight for herself was in fact a way of protecting her did not occur to him). Maybe he was wrong, maybe Legs wasn't behind it and Tess really did want to battle. He battled with Tro right? So that they would be stronger when they faced the hunters, he always enjoyed that. But it was different with Tro, right? Wasn't it? His arms crossed, a twitch of his tail, a quiet sigh. If she really wanted to battle him, he wouldn't refuse, but he still wasn't sure he liked it. 	The ghoul brightened upon hearing Sheridan's voice, glancing behind her to give the dragon boil a welcoming smile. "Hey! Thanks for coming on such short notice," the winged ghoul beamed as she flew up to him to buss her cheek against his. It was a greeting she hadn't been able to use for ages, at least not with people other than Lizzy. The act didn't have any hidden meaning behind it! Maybe a fondness for the boil but that wasn't anything unusual was it? "Legs insisted she wanted a rematch with you now that you're a second year. I'm just here so that she's strong enough to put up a decent spar." She explained, grinning wickedly at her lower half. Legs just kicked the ground dejectedly.

	Sheridan smiled, a happy flick in his tail as he returned Tess' greeting with a similar gesture. It was a greeting he was happy to share, he really did enjoy being with her and the time they spent together. But his attention was quickly turned back to the current subject, eyes narrowed as he turned his gaze to Legs. So he had been right, it was Legs that was behind it all. That did nothing to improve his mood, though he would have been lying if he said he didn't find a bit of satisfaction in knowing that Tess was leaving Legs to deal with it all on her own and the seemingly unhappy look to Legs' posture (at least he thought it was unhappy). 	Tess canted her head, "Well not during the exact moment, and it won't be the same um, intensity?" she pursed her lips as she pondered on how best to explain the way she and Legs shared memories. "It's like remembering how you bumped your elbow. You know it hurt but you don't feel how much it hurts. Not the exact amount as it did when it happened." Legs would sigh at this point. She sort of just wanted this over and done with upon learning things weren't going to go the way she wanted them to. Amon Larethian Sheridan gets first strike because I rolled a 1 XD

	His brow furrowed, an uncertain twitch of his tail. Why did the idea of battling Tess, even her lower half, set him so on edge? It wasn't as if he didn't spar with other friends (he was still trying to kick Tro's a instead of the other way around), and it wasn't as if he got along with Legs in the least. But Legs was a part of Tess, and Tess he... "Alright..." A reluctant sigh, a glare aimed squarely at Legs (this was -her- doing). There may or may not have been a hint of a sulk in his steps as he strode to the middle of the gym floor. Let's get this over with... He was swift, immediately dropping into a stance, his jaws parted to unleash at flurry of frozen plasma. A half-hearted, experimental strike at best, he was still not convinced he would not hurt Tess as well. Ice, that had been his intent, but what came out was in fact FIRE! 	The lower half scrambled out of the attack's way as quickly as she could. It wasn't as if she wasn't prepared to fight but, well, she'd been expected her upper half to join in and be some sort of distraction! Legs barely dodged the attack, and the sides of her left thigh caught on fire!! Panicking, she proceeded to roll on the ground to put herself out. So to speak. Auuuugh, My stockiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiingsssssssss! Legs mentally wailed, more concerned over her ruined garment then her own physical state. Angrily, she dashed up to the dragon boil and unceremoniously kicked him in the shin. Meanwhile, Tess face-palms. HP: 36 Damage: 5 Amon Larethian

	(( HP: 35/40 damage: 4 )) Ow! Damn it that hurt! The dragon growled, glaring at Legs and her damned pointy shoes. Hmph, maybe he should set her shoes on fire, that would teach her to not kick him with HIGH HEELS on! He had jumped back, favoring one leg for a moment as he waited for the sting to wear off. Yep, totally going to set those shoes on fire. This time when he called the fire, it was on purpose, the stream of superheated plasma aimed directly at Legs' feet and thus her shoes. Huni Pi

	Her shoes were on fire? Her shoes were on fire. ... HER SHOES WERE ON FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIREEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Legs quickly kicked off the burning footwear and apparently right at the dragon boil who'd set them on fire in the first place. 	"Maybe next time she'll think twice about kicking me with high heels." There was a hint of a smirk as he spoke. Watching Legs flail around, even for a moment, with her shoes on fire? Totally worth the price of a new pair of shoes. Even if she had kicked them at him and one of them had clipped an antler, it was still worth it. "Would you like me to cool that off for you?" 	Tess just cringed in empathic pain. She was definitely going to feel that when she merged with her lower half. And knowing Legs, it was going to happen immediately after this spar ended. Legs was too busy trying to keep herself moving to think about fighting back. HP: 26 Damage: 0 Amon Larethian
