No matter where you go or who you meet, nothing is ever quite as it seems. Take, for example, the town of Stepford in some unnamed state of America. At first glance, you'd think it the perfect place to be. There is little to no visible crime, the streets are unordinarilly clean, and almost everyone you meet is as bright and chipper as could be. In truth, the situation there is perhaps more dire than anywhere else. People are going missing by the masses, only to turn up as mangled corpses or worse. The youth are becoming more violent with one another, often brutalizing to the brink of death those who cannot find the wealth or popularity to protect themselves. The number of cult related crimes and deaths are at an all new high, giving rise to many a rumor about an upcoming Apocalypse.

About a week prior to the story's beginning, a large massacre occured at a large family gathering. All who attended were slaughtered, leaving only a few straggelers - including {the Protagonist} and his/her family - alive. {Protagonist} is convinced that something foul is afoot - that there was more going on in Stepford than originally met the eye. With only his/her best friend to aid him/her, {Protagonist} is out to find the apparently supernatural source of all these problems and put an end to the so-called Apocalypse before it even begins. Delving deep into the world of the Occult and the Strange, {Protagonist} is going on a witch hunt...

Whether {Protagonist} knows the truth of it all or is actually too grief stricken to see reality remains to be seen.

1. Nothing is as it seems in Stepford. To give this sort of feel, you must do a dice roll and PM me immediately afterwards. We will discuss the number you got and what you and your character need to know I will not tell anyone how this system works, but what number you get will change just how involved and informed your character is of the so called 'Apocalypse'. Whether your character uses this knowledge to the benefit or hindrance of others is your choice. Roll your dice in this thread, please! That is also where we shall take OOC discussion, please.

2. Whatever roll you get, you are not allowed to immediately disclose such information. Part of the fun comes from not knowing every card in the deck. Foreshadowing and hinting is fun and highly encouraged so long as it does not become blatantly obvious before it should be.
tl;dr: Know when to keep your mouth shut and know when it's okay to blurt your heart out when it comes to upcoming twists.

3. Certain roles and characters are exempt from the dice roll, but still require discussion and explanation. Should you be interested in such a character listed, PM me to reserve it and we'll discuss things from there. You are NOT to disclose what role you have unless you are the Protagonist. Once a role has been reserved, I'll remove it from listing entirely and put your character up once you've sent it in. If you decide not to send in your profile for an extended period of time or decide that you no longer want the role, I'll put it back on the list until it's claimed by someone else.

4. Be polite and courteous towards your fellow roleplayers. That means no god-modding without my consent, no auto-hitting without my consent, no killing off another person's characters without their and my consent, no ripping off another character's limbs without the owner's consent, or anything along those lines. That also means no arguing in OOC within this thread. If you break this rule, you'll only get one warning//retcon edit. Break it again and you'll be banned.

5. If two characters are going to get sexually intimate, you can do a number of things to avoid cybering. To begin with, you can "timeskip" - assuming everyone else is ready for a timeskip as well. The better option, however, would be to "phase out" - which means to stop posting until a certain time seems to have elapsed with the other characters in the RP. Once enough time has gone by, you can start posting as your characters again. If you are going to take it to the PM's, go ahead, just don't start bragging about it in thread. Cybering is against Gaia's set rules. Unless you are a total idiot who's never read the ToS, as everyone should have read the ToS by now, you have no real reason not to know that.
*Also, it doesn't matter whether you type it in first person or not, cybering is still cybering. Yes, this has been used as an excuse before.

6. Violence, Death, and Comedic Sociopathy are all par for the course. Oh, and there is a possibility of gore too. If you can't handle any of that, this might not be the RP for you.

7. When writing out your posts, use proper sentences. If the entirety of your post consists of something like the quote below, you will only recieve one warning before being banned/killed off/retconned. After all, nobody likes a script-styler, especially not if text talk or extremely poor spelling is involved.

8. PM all profiles to Animeprincess_9400(me). Entitle it with whatever you wish so long as I can tell that your profile is for this roleplay specifically. If you use the wrong skeleton or completely butcher the code I've used, I will make you fix it. If you won't fix it, your profile will be rejected. Simple!

9. Please try to remain active if you join. Should you be having trouble entering or keeping within the story, just let me know and I'll find a way to work you in. Should you have lost interest entirely, hand your character off to someone else, let me retcon them, or find a decent way to kill them off. (All depending on the character and importance to the story.) Please and thank you!

Username: Self-Explanitory. Mine, for example, would be Animeprincess_9400
Appearance: A detailed description or picture of your character. Pictures can be realistic or anime. It doesn't matter either way so long as we all get a concept for what your character looks like.
Name: Your character's name.
Gender: Was your character born male or female?
Age: How old your character is.
Likes: What kind of interests does your character have? At least four or five.
Dislikes: What kind of things irritate or piss your character off? What kind of things bore your character? At least three or four.

Bio: A quick join to the military when he hit 17 allowed to go under his parents approval as he turned 18 his last week of AIT he was sent straight to the next station which was Iraq. Not being an amazing place for a recently turned legal male to go Joesph has seen things most outside of the service hasn't even dreamed about from death to loss of life of people close. It left a scar on him deeper then anything finally making him simply end his service and leave the miltary at the age of 23. During his time in tho he had gotten his Associates degree in both English and teaching. Upon returning home and in need of a job he took to a search that ended with his hiring at the Highschool where he has been teaching only a year now and still settling into his new place.
