The Hubig pie factory burned to the ground. Where will I get good pies from now? They were the only ones who made sweet potato pies that tasted good. No one else makes a cherry pie like them. The custard pies, gone all gone. crying

I went to Walmart but it was too late. All the Hubig's pies were snatched up by frantic pie fiends.

This is going to be ugly. By tomorrow the city will be full of people searching in vain for Hubig's pies. It will not be long before someone tries to make synthetic Hubig's pies and start selling them under cover.

Hmmm I should probably start myself. I shall start with a pasty shell and fill it with cherry pie filling of my own design. The sugar glaze on the outside of the pie will present great difficulty though. The profits would be enormous! xd

Also the price gouging begins!

They have a very loyal following. The only analogy I can think of would be what it would be like if Coca Cola went out of business.

When news broke people immediately went out to the store and bought whatever they could. True panic buying, Most were buying for personal consumption but well you know when there are profits like this to be made...

I have a couple of cherry ones in the freezer for later. They should hold me till I can figure out how to make more.

The counterfitting has set in.
